Will You Watch it? He's getting a nice chunk of change - but I'll miss his little red mop top..... Nothing like getting canned b/c the boss made a mistake. NBC didn't think when they offered him the time slot & Conan wasn't thinking when he accepted. Although, the money would have been tough to turn down. He'll bounce back. don't feel too sorry for someone about receive 45 mil for not working. |

I love him.
They didn't give him enough time to build his audience. Big mistake on NBC's part. It's gonna come back and bite them in the arse |

I say, fire the exec that moved everyone around and keep Conan!

The main problem is that Conan is a " coastal " humorist.
Most of middle America either just doesn't get, or simply cannot appreciate his brand of humor. I thought NBC made a MAJOR mistake in giving him the Tonight Show in the first place. |

I wonder of giving it back to Leno is the answer.
I doubt it, don't see him beating Letterman in the ratings. |

I wonder of giving it back to Leno is the answer. I doubt it, don't see him beating Letterman in the ratings. He won't for a little while. But....if you look back....during the OJ Simpson trial, Leno took the number one spot from Letterman and never gave it back. I think he'll get the spot back eventually. |

I used to love Letterman.
I don't know what happened to the guy. Somewhere along the way, he seemed to turn into a bitter old man. Every time I tune in, I find it hard to watch. His personality is grating. His personal vandettas against Oprah, Madonna, Hillary Clinton, Liz Taylor, Sarah Palin, etc. make me think he has issues with women. Not to mention the multiple affairs he had with female staffers. The man is just creepy. Leno at least still comes across as a genuinely NICE guy. He gave a benefit concert recently, in Detroit, that was free to anyone that was unemployed. I think Leno will re-take the lead, over Letterman, in a short amount of time. Conan is the best. Where do you think he will end up? |

I agree with Lewis
Letterman used to be bizarre and funny pushing stuff off the roof and smashing things with a hydraulic press now he just seems lika mean old man crabbing about everything even his Bush jokes and Sara Palin jokes arent funny, just hateful Conan came out on top of all this. he kept of a halfway classy image through it all bet he winds up on FOX with a bigger contract |
