Will You Watch it? He's getting a nice chunk of change - but I'll miss his little red mop top..... Nothing like getting canned b/c the boss made a mistake. NBC didn't think when they offered him the time slot & Conan wasn't thinking when he accepted. Although, the money would have been tough to turn down. He'll bounce back. don't feel too sorry for someone about receive 45 mil for not working. |

Nope, I won't. There has been so much money & goods collected & that they don't know what to do with it all. To me it's too little too late. What I mean is, where was all of this assistance while the country in general has languished in turmoil & disarray for decades?
It always seems easier to spend money retro-actively than pro. What would have happened if the money collected today had been spent constructing buildings to with stand earthquakes of that magnitude? It appears that the fact that Eureka, CA suffered a 6.5 quake, the same week, is lost on most. Only because of California's building codes. Don't get me wrong, I feel the pain & suffering & feel awful for the survivors. I pray that their suffering is ended soon. But don't forget the lesson in this event. It's not about us & we're not in control. |

You stole my Steve Vai! I honestly feel people don't appreciate him as much as they should. He pretty much made David Lee Roth's music sound ten times better, cause once he left Roth for Whitesnake, Roth couldn't sell records as his music sucked. He also used to play for Frank Zappa....... Speaking of Frank, ever hear his cover of Stairway to Heaven? It's awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1vfGoy4-Rs |

Dating these days...

If I meet one more person who can't communicate, I'll scream. I know how you feel, this person was a real persaon, not from a computer. Worse, we decided to go see a movie and when he gets here, it's a totally different movie. It's way too late to go then. I say am gonna stay home tomarrow , clean, pay bills etc. He says I'll come over. Gets here @ 3 and brings up going to the movie. Do people just not listen to themselves or another when there is a conversation going on? After he left, (kinda pushed him out the door because wasn't getting much done) realized am not going to do that again, wenth through years with my ex of trying to play 'read my mind' and 'we're gonna do what i want stuff'. Feel bad but good thing it was just in the start up and had said wanted to try friends first. So am going to stay with that and tell him next time that don't think a relationship is on the horizon. Sorry to go on so long about YOUR topic but it is somewhat similar... Please, don't bring up the "let's be friends 1st", silliness. Puhlease!!! You discover things about another person in a dating scenario. Dating doesn't mean "commitment", sheesh. I had to deal with that non-sense once before & it doesn't work for me. Why is it that the woman gets to set all of the ground rules? |

Thank you Quietman. I forgot all about Robin Trower. Definetly one of the best. Must be getting old and senile. He's still recording. He & Jack Bruce released a CD together in 2007. I saw him yrs ago. Great concert. Here's the wiki link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robin_Trower |

Stevie Ray Vaughn Ditto!!! Saw him & Double Trouble in '89. 1 of my all time favorite concert memories. I also agree with Al D., Joe S., Leslie, Jeff, David, Johnny & of course Robin. I can't believe no one hasn't mentioned Slash. He released an acoustic cd a number of yrs back that just kicks. You should hear him play flamenco style, amazing!! And don't forget Brian May & his 1 of a kind guitar. |

This looks like fun!!!! DANG!!!!!!!!!!! Where do you get tickets for this event? Galend would love this place.I see they have $2 shots. |

Hey Galend!! I did like the new bras Ditto, Although, I do think the coconut version is more versatile, i.e., when utilized as a drinking container, there's easier "access", Galend, bring on those shots, please. Gary's the mix-meister, but I'll volunteer to lead the table dancing tonight! Will that do? Ooh, baby, you betcha. Grass skirt is mandatory. |

We were never meant to toss our brains away & fall in line as mindless zombies. Those who chose not to see, won't. There is so much "evidence" of the existence of God. To paraphrase Paul in Romans that just looking into the heavens, that man is without excuse.

I have to apologize. When asked about what type of party music, I forgot to provide some tracks. So, here we are. The 1st is calypso & the 2nd is reggae. I have to tell you, that there's so much ganja smoke in the place, you can hardly see the performers.
