The circus was setting up their show
in the way outback of Australia.

The next day one of the elephants escaped.

An old lady who had never seen an elephant
woke up early the next day to find a strange
animal in her garden patch.

She rang her g/son who was a warden at the P/station
telling him that there was a strange animal in her yard.

G/son, asks his frailed g/ma to discribe the animal,
"well it has 4 legs like tree trunks, 2 big flappy things
each side of its body, and 2 tails..."

G/son then asks what is it doing...
G/ma replies, "it is picking up my prize cabbages with its tail"

G/son asks with concern, "what is it doing with your cabbages"
G/ma, now in shock and stressed out, replies to her g/son..
"If I told you, you would never believe me!!!!!!"

Some Americans travelled to the outback of Australia
and decided to stop at the local watering hole for a drink.

There standing at the bar was an old rugged drover
with his cattle dog, one of the Americans admired the dog
and then continued to ask what was the dogs name...

The drover replied, "his name is Herpes"

The shocked American asked "why name your lovely dog that"

Taking another sip of his beer, the drover then replied
I could never get the damn bugger to heel"

How ironic. The OP was written by someone who doesn't even have a profile picture. whoa

I was waiting for someone else to point that out. laugh

You have me smiling,smile2

If one was/is objectional because the OP
was written by someone who doesn't
even have a profile picture,
I am going to quote Waterloosunset,
"....that is too effing bad
Find......................" smile2 tongue2 smile2

Then again many dont fill their profile with a self photo,
which is the requirement if one is going to add a picture.

A few add not themself but pictures of wallpaper/comic/pets etc
why not just leave it blank, then show one self as a DOG.

Still smiling...

YET we have to remember
that there will be no life/us
without breathing in oxygen
and exhaling carbon dioxide,
so we should do this first
and worry about the rest later
and the way the environment is,
there could come a shortage of
good air to breathe...

SO start sucking it in and know
that you are doing it for your life.

Hummmmmmmmmmm don't most normally take their sunglasses off when inside? Or do you tend to only talk to others outside?

Never thought about that bothering me due to if I'm outside I do have my sunglasses on and don't take them off till I go inside.

Besides that most the time if one listens to the one they are talking to and observes their actions. They can learn a lot by those things alone. Now when I'm inside talking to someone it is the lack of eye contact that gets on my nerves. Those that totally avoid eye contact with you while your talking to them are the ones you should be worried about.whoa

SOME can talk to the other from a different room
and have no concern about having that eye contact

TO have eye contact is a serious need when discussing
in depth concerns, if there is a trust, it works, even
over the telephone, then again, they could very well
be rolling their eyes.

Hummmmmmmm and would that not as well pertain to those that wear sunglasses as well?

For it is the fact that you can not see their eyes that bothers you.

As far as eye contact with the person you are talking to I'm referring to those time you are face to face with another person and in a conversation with them. Any other time I do not expect to have eye contact with them if they are in fact doing something as we are talking or in another room.

And.... yes it would.

It is a dislike, not so much of a bother, then again I dislike people who chew gum constantly while they are talking.

I knew you were talking of face to face, eye contact in conversation, I just went a little beyond that to when one does chat without constant eye contact.

There's glass between us.

I run into this occasionally -- and rarely does anyone ever see me without dark glasses, because my eyes are very sensitive to bright light and I get excruciating headaches -- but if people choose to see that as "hiding," well, so be it -- that's a choice they make....

This I understand this reason, yet some still have them on
indoors too, some especailly choosing to put them on
when having their photographs taken indoors, is it a prop
to help accentuate their looks or to hide part of who they are.

I have a dislike of people speaking to others
with their sunglasses still on, as I feel that
the heard words cant be as well trust if one
cannot read the others "whole face" clearly...

It nice to see into ones eyes when talking...

1/.... IN todays society does how much money the other has
play the bigger role than being really "in" love with them.

AS some request in their profile
"has to be financially secure"

Does money attract one first before actually fall in love.

Do many guard their money first before investing in love.

Pieces Of Broken

"If you lose your purpose ... it's like you're broken. "

when you prefer to see the warm sunshine
from the bedroom window
you know your nights are going to be longer

when you look into your white cold frigerator
seeing only a bottle of milk
you know your stomach will stay hungry again

when you hear voices talking in the distance
thinking it is about you
you know your lips will move, but say nothing

when you hear knocking raps on the front door
knowing you are a mess
you know your will hide until they are far gone

when living starts to feel more like another chore
caring to be broken and dead
you know then you have lost your sense of purpose

To understand the above quote one has to have lived it

I like to dabble in writing poetry,
I feel I am average, then average is good.

I want to share these 2 poems, as they do
in ways relate well to the main topic...

********************************************************

Being Unique

We are not drawn to each other
because we are equally kind or beautiful or smart,
but because we are uniquely equally flawed.

********************************************************

I Stand Before You

I stand before you dressed in nothing but myself.
Would you like for me to wear shadows of doubt
and our strings of unseen guilt about the neck.

I stand before you dressed in nothing but myself.
Would you like for me to see through glass eyes
and see your rainbow with all the shades of grey.

I stand before you dressed in nothing but myself.
Would you like for me to speak with a fork tongue
and listen to you with cotton wool in both ears.

I stand before you dressed in nothing but myself.
Would you like for me to keep a close distance
and touch you tenderly like if I had wooden limbs.

I stand before you dressed in nothing but myself.
Would you like for me to think with an empty mind
and love you with a heart made of sand and mortar

I stand before you dressed in nothing but myself.
Accept me gladly for who I am and am not, if not,
then you must go, leaving me just the same, as I am.
