And maybe Jesus never got married because he had commitment issues.

"It was also said, 'Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.' But I say to you that every one who divorces his wife, except on the ground of unchastity, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery." (Matthew 5:31-32)

good point

I'm pretty sure the adultery thing with a divorced woman is purely a Catholic view. But I'm not Catholic, so who knows?

Jesus was the SPOTLESS LAMB, who BORE our Sins on the Cross...

When Jesus cried out, "My God My God, Why Hast Thou Forsaken Me? "..It was at that Momnent that God allowed his Only Begotten Son to Bear the Sins of the whole world...

Jesus lived without Sin......

It is only by the power of the holy spirit dwelling in the heart of man, that man can ever understand the truth of the Word of God.
Man's intellect will always give man's opinion, nothing more.

I know your beliefs...so I will ask you. Do you think it's possible for Jesus to have been married and the holy grail was his child?

If not why? in your opinion

I was raised Roman Catholic but after my divorce I changed over to Lutheran...2 things made me change...first when my mom died and the Catholic church would not let me have the burial mass at the church because they did not have a record of her envelopes noway I told them she was sick for many years and watched the mass on TV...my uncle had to make a substantial donation and then they allowed it..then after my divorce I felt un-welcome..

When I moved to NC I tried a few even went back to a Roman Catholic church to try it again, but could not find a place I called home...Went to a Presbyterian Church for a few months but it was over an hour away...my kids go to a youth night at a Wesleyan church so after a year of them doing that we decided to try it out...so we have been going there for about a month. They welcomed us with open arms, even had a luncheon to welcome us and it's only up the block.

Sorry this has nothing to do with your original post

I think it is indeed possible. The arguments surrounding it seem possible. The vessel holds the seed of God...The vessel was Mary

I think that's what the movie/book was saying.

I think it could be possible too. To me it doesn't minimize who Jesus was to me

not sure if this has been done yet

Has anyone see the movie or read the book?

I'm curious what people thought of May Magdelin being married to Jesus and carry the holy grail as the child

I thought it was interesting and made me think. Why couldn't Jesus have been married and had a family??? It was customary in those days...so why not?

could Mary have been more to Jesus? Could that be why she was at the cross and the tomb? Could that have been her in the painting of the Last Supper?

Just wondering the thoughts

It's all a lie, watch the history channel, discovery channel, any learning channel, no truth in it...

Not at all. Even when they went over the picture of the last summer...after the explanations I could see what they were talking about...it could have been Mary..who are we to know that there were no women there? Like Wiley said, history changes depending on who writes it...like when you played telephone as a kid...by the time the saying got to the end of the line of kids it changed and everyone laughed!

the Bible does say that there were women followers that went with Jesus. It's possible but I guess anything is

Why would Mary not of been there? If it were my child's last meal I would have. Makes sense to me. I thought the movie was very thought provoking whether factual or not.
