Ill vote for whoever ends the war, balances the budget and kills of NAFTA sounds like a write in for ron paul If any of you cared about having a candidate who really does understand and have a plan to fix the issues that really should be important to America, you would be voting for Ron Paul! But you keep yeah, yeahin' around about who's a liberal and who's a conservative and always puttin' the cart before the horse, and perpetuating this fallacy of us verses them, and we just keep going farther and farther down the ****ter! The meek should loose their attitude of entitlement and start realizing that it won't matter in 10 years if Clinton had sex with an intern or if Bush lied in order to go to war, or that McCain was bumpin' uglies with a lobbyist, or that Michelle Obama was only proud to be an American twice in her life! Our world as we know it is fixin' to cess to exist. If you really want to make a difference, wake up, get a clue! Any of the "major" candidates are a political machine. There is no changing the machine, you just switch machines. The machine just does the same thing over and over again. Sorry, that's my rant and I'm stickin' to it! |

NY Times backs Mccain in the Republican primary knowing that they have been working on this story for over six months. Mccain seals the Republican ticket and suddenly the NY Times releases a story, one which provides NO evidence and is full of innuendos to smear Mccain. This is a very weak smear. We even have Bill Bennet, big Democrat who was a lawyer for Clinton, coming to the aid of Mccain in this horrible smear campaign. Like many, including liberals, and others have said today, this smear piece will bring Republicans and especially conservatives to rally around Mccain. Any sensible person should see the weak attack this was, I was just watching Olbermann and even that fool of a man was holding back big time. Chris Matthews did the same as well today, even though you could surely tell he wished he had something really good to use. The New Republic and Washington Post are doing the same, TNR have a good piece about the inner turmoil this story caused at the NY Times. Some heads are going to roll, unless those anonymous sources decide to step up with real proof. John Weaver, tossed as the head of Mccain's campaign, what you would think would be a disgruntled ex-employee, has comments that go directly against the innuendos or what is implied by the NY Time article. Weaver said he talked to Iseman to back off and stop showing up because she was a lobbist throwing around the fact she knew Mccain and bragging about the pull she had. The piece is extremely weak, and unless they have something else to this it is going to be another Judy Wilson or Jayson Blair affair. NY Times sales are already in the tank and they have been laying off staff after staff and its continuing to go downhill there. Let the fall of the Grey Lady continue. Apart from the political influences of the lobbyist the only difference so far is she hasn't saved her dress with the "evidence" in a freezer or at least it hasn't come out yet. Those are the only differences I see. McCain is a dolt. He is so pro-war because he still has flashbacks from his POW days. He is not a well man mentally. We get him in office and we can hang it up. We may as well just hand over our paychecks for all the warring he wants to do. We think our deficit is bad now let McCain in |

THE IMPEACHMENT WAS FOR LIEING UNDER OATH and where is the proof mccain did it not saying he did not but till i see the proof he is not guilty to me Who cares? I could give a rat's ass if McCain is getting a little on the side or not. It's nothing but tabloid journalism. That's what our press has become these days, unfortunately. I care more about what he stands for and how he will lead this country as President. Though I like him as a person, I wouldn't vote for him because he's too much of a hawk. |

Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power" ~~~ Benito Mussolini
"Eventually, this transition ought to lead to free and fair elections -- and I mean free, and I mean fair -- not these kind of staged elections that the Bush... er Castro brothers try to foist off as true democracy." ~~~ George W. Bush on Fidel stepping down "Amtrak will start randomly screening passengers' carry-on bags this week in a new security push that includes officers with automatic weapons and bomb-sniffing dogs patrolling platforms and trains. On-time performance is a key element of Amtrak service. We are fully mindful of that. This is not about train delays." ~~~ Bill Rooney, Amtrak's vice president for security strategy and special operations ~~~ http://www.issuesandalibis.org/ |

Madisonman do you ever have an original thought or do you just cut and paste what your Political Science Professor tells you to? Please look back on this forum and check Gary86 and Gina22, perhaps Davinci and Fitnessfanatic you will see all of your posts were posted by them months ago SSDD. If you can't strive for accuracy, at least strive for originality.

Ill vote for whoever ends the war, balances the budget and kills of NAFTA Good luck with that. Can we assume you'll be voting for the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, and Santa Claus as well? No offense meant madison, but the govt isn't going to do away with NAFTA, CAFTA, APEC, or any of the other slew of slanted trade agreements we have with foreign interests. They sold us out to the highest bidder years ago. |

I think a more appropriate question would be... "Madisonman do you ever have a thought" |
