Souls don't perish at death they are only destroyed after judgment according to scripture...

The reason I say this is regardless of any belief, or non belief in religion or God, etc. the soul is a separate entity from your flesh body after you die instantaneously, at least initially it was for me as well as many others who have died and came back from death somehow. I didn’t just cease to exist, my soul turned into spirit form away from my body temporarily. The Creator came to collect it too.

Floating upward into the bright mysterious light while still being able to think, see, and have emotions was profound. Being able to see my flesh body dead and realizing my body was dead yet I was still alive was shocking as well as being able to view myself and all that was going on around my body from the spirit world on my way upwards into the light.

I sure didn’t just die and blank out or not exist. It was almost as if I was watching a movie of me falling into the water backwards at first that is how I’d describe my view of separating from my flesh. The light collected my soul at the death of it. Like it or not I had no control over anything that was happening.

All souls belong to the creator and he came to collect mine immediately in the twinkling of an eye.

That was an awesome experience. Thanks for sharing.

Many people who have had "after death" experiences report things similar to that. But the statement you made was:

Souls don't perish at death they are only destroyed after judgement according to scripture...

If scripture says that, please give the verse.

I don't believe souls are ever destroyed. (Energy cannot be destroyed.) But that the essence of the personality is absorbed into its higher self and its information is collected, and its energy is added to the group energy of its higher being.

As Abra pointed out, scripture is not consistent on exactly what happens to the person (soul) after death, therefor I have always heard different things from different people, many Christians but not all of them were Christians.

Robert Monroe wrote three books telling about his "out of body" or "other world" experiences and he talks about seeing lost souls, and different heavens and different levels or planes where souls reside after death. He and many others have learned to "soul travel" while still occupying the physical body without having to die.

You do not have to die to experience the feeling of being out of the body. As long as the "silver cord" is still attached, you can return to the body and it will have life again. But once you sever the cord, you will not come back into the body.

If you seriously think that non-believers would just perish after the first death and bypass judgment scripture says otherwise.

I disagree. John 3:16 clearly states that only those who believe that Jesus was the son of God will have every lasting life. But John’s all over the place with that throughout the rest of his book. Clearly he was confused about it himself.

The bottom line is that the men who wrote about the life of Jesus were clearly confused. This is why there are so many denominations of the religion. No two people can agree on what the scriptures are saying. Even people within a single congregation of a single sect don’t all agree on everything.

The only thing that is perfectly clear about the Bible is that it’s not clear at all. flowerforyou

Very intense 4 year bible study.....brutal but so worth it.

This is also for my sweet abra-meister

ORIGIN OF MAN

A little girl asked her mother: How did the human race appear?

The mother answered: God made Adam and Eve and they had children and so
was all mankind made. Two days later she asks her father the same question.

The father answered: Many years ago there were monkeys from which the
human race was developed.

The confused girl returns to her mother and says: "Mom! how is it possible that
you told me that the human race was created by God and Papa says they were
developed from monkeys?"

The mother answered: "Well, dear, it is very simple. I told you about the origin
of my side of the family while your father told you about his side."

Brutal brainwashing,... I see.

Shouldn't that be outlawed by the anti-terrorism act?

Or at least fall under the anti-torture act of cruel and unusual mental anguish.

Are you allowed to point out where the teachers are wrong? Or would that be considered ‘rebellion against God’? laugh

That is what we have been telling Christians for years.

Why can't they get that through their skulls?

They thrive on cursing other people to hell.

It’s an obsession.

The only thing I know is that if the pantheistic understanding of God is correct then God’s love is truly unconditional and every goes to heaven without exception.

If the Christians are right, then God’s love is extremely conditional, so much so, that the vast majority of Christians are going to be cast out of God’s grace into the fiery pits of hell. Only very few will actually make it to divine grace, the path is straight and the gate is narrow. Jesus said himself that he would denounce many who claim to know him. The Christian God will necessarily abandon and reject the vast majority of “Christians”.

Let’s all pray that God really is prefect and that pantheism genuinely reflects God’s true nature. bigsmile

I think it would be wonderful if God really does turn out to be perfect. Clearly the God depicted in the Bible is not anywhere near perfect. He orders people to kill other people, and he casts souls into an eternal hell fire. There’s nothing perfect about that.

Many mothers who would go to the Christian heaven would find out that their heathen children when to hell. I don’t see how they are going to be very happy knowing that their children will be suffering for all of eternity with no hope of ever escaping their predicament.

Some heaven. ohwell

It would represent a very selfish place I would think.

Moreover, people who claim to be upset about all the suffering that's going on here on earth certainly wouldn't find heaven any better. They would still know that the suffering will continue for eternity. Nothing would have changed. The only difference is that they won't be allowed to watch TV in heaven because they won't have any free will any longer. All that make it to heaven have agreed to forfeit their own free will in favor of only doing the will of God.

Sounds like the plot of a horror film.

2 Corinthians 5:10 (King James Version)
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

No story can be fully understood in a single verse, paragraph or sentence unless it is a very short story. If you know what the bible says but just think it's all a myth then you should know what it says better than that. Maybe you are just refuting it if you think only Christians go to judgment and others just die. All souls belong to the creator of them. He decides which ones live or die. Every accountability able soul has the choice to conclude whether they prefer eternal life with God or death with Satan?

Not everyone prefers to make up another God or theory just because they don't like the real one.

Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

If you would love to experience this, then spend two weeks at the Monroe Institute and they will show you how.

You can find it on the Internet. Just type in the name Robert Monroe or the Monroe Institute.

You may want to read his books first.

The interesting thing about Robert Monroe was that he was a logical thinker and considered himself to be a Christian. He was quite confused when he began getting out of his body. He went to a shrink to see if he was delusional or crazy but he was given a clean bill of health.

So he started going to spiritualists and tarot card readers telling them about his experiences. They were keenly interested and wanted to know more. They wanted to learn from him. He was looking for answers from them.

So what he did was to take notes and document as clearly as he could everything that happened to him.

I have all three books but I have only read two of them. I used to practice "soul travel" myself and had a few very interesting experiences but I now prefer to stay in this world. After all thats what I came here for. To live here. (As apposed to the La La Land of other dimensions) LOL

But astral sex was quite interesting. blushing
