The bible. thats a great book if you are looking for laughs, murder, rape, incest, double crossing, infant slaying, magic, theft, and all the other vices availible to man.

on a more serious note, I'd also reccommend Stephen King's The Stand if you've got lots of time...it really changed the way I thought about any number of things I have read the Stand over and over and I get something different from it everytime.Are you getting the new book?

If you're serious about this I'd recommend "The Seven Habits of Highly Successful People" By Steven Covey No, it's not a "motivational" book. It's a life and the living of it book.

Hey everybody, I'm looking for a book that will destroy everything I believe about the world and then build me up with a new understanding of things. What is your vote for the best book ever? While I don't consider it the "best book ever", a good current release is "The Shell Game" by Steve Alten.
