My favourite time of year is the Fall!
Weather is perfect for all kinds of activities indoor and outdoor. But catching Salmon running up stream is so exciting . especially when you have one on, and the ensuing fight is unbelievable....minimum weight 25 lbs... hello |

my new favourite thing to do is playing pickleball ....especially within my age group.....the ladies are horrible .....so I get a chance to showboat a bit and end up with their phone number....just so I get to coach em over the phone .....and NO, there is no phone sex going down ......

IMO pickleball is simply tennis with paddles instead of rackets
OT: I've recently rediscovered an old favorite but with a new twist.. peanut brittle with almonds and cashews instead |

IMO pickleball is simply tennis with paddles instead of rackets
OT: I've recently rediscovered an old favorite but with a new twist.. peanut brittle with almonds and cashews instead Pickleball is like table tennis, or ping pong for you North Americans, only thing is you are standing on the table , kinda ....gotta be pretty fit to play..... Another long time favourite is drinking Shandy on very hot days ....its so refreshing ! Cheers !! |

One of my favourite things to do is go kayaking....but of late the Casino calls more often.....not an easy decision to make ...

One of my favourite things to do is go kayaking....but of late the Casino calls more often.....not an easy decision to make ... kayaking releases dopamine.. along with other feel-good chemicals like serotonin and endorphins, which can improve mood and reduce stress.. this makes kayaking not only a physical workout but also beneficial for mental health... casino's simply raise your hopes at winning.. but cause stress related anxieties while it empties your bank account.. doing the math? I'd choose kayaking.. just sayin.. |

Kayaking on the other hand is fine but you have to know how to thread water or swim , in case you topple into the water....sketch situation ....life jackets helps , if you have one ... OT: going out to dance and enjoy a stress free Friday night at my local Legion !! A couple of drinks also help!!! |

Kayaking on the other hand is fine but you have to know how to thread water or swim , in case you topple into the water....sketch situation ....life jackets helps , if you have one ... first time for everything huh.. using "smart" and "gamblers" together in the same sentence.. I grew up on a lake so canoeing, sailing, boating, water skiing and swimming were our downtime pass times.. I've gone into the brink a few times with AND without a life jacket.. I'm still here 
which reminds me.. OT: tacking & heeling while sailing.. exhilarating.. |

Remember the two very smart gamblers who made a living out of their gambling , many years ago , so much so CRA tried to get them to pay income tax on the winnings... The arguement was since this was the only source of income they had , it was like a job , hence income tax was applicable....guess how that ended???
OT : My favourite movie when I was way younger was " Seven Brides for Seven Brothers"" And still trying to put that into practice ......failing miserably off course ...

I never followed 'gamblers' so I've no clue who yer talking about.. nor do I care ta know'em.. gambling with money's just not ma thang.. I gamble every day just getting outta bed
so no clue how that ended..
OT: first in cinema and favorite movie ever watched was Star Wars.. saw it 7 times in the theater.. 2nd was Rocky Horror Picture Show.. |
