OT; just watched Skyfall... for the third time !!!!'

My fave Bond movie is still and always be “On Her Majesty’s secret service”. My first Bond movie I saw was “A view to a kill” and after that it became my fave movie series. Judi played M the best and Desmond played Q the best. Some facts: Sheena Easton was the youngest singer to sing a Bond theme until Billie Eilish. Daniel Craig held 2 Bond records. He was in the shortest Bond movie “Quantum of solace” and the longest “No time to die”. My fa=e line has always been Bond “Do you expect me to talk?” GF “No Mr Bond, I expect you to die!”. It’s really hard to choose who I like the best but when it comes right down to it Daniel Craig is my fave . Okay now speaking of Pierce I was on the James Bond Facebook page and HE ACTUALLY BEFRIEND ME! I told him OMG YES! I told him he’s in another of my fave scenes where he’s wearing the thermal device and he’s making love to the girl and M is watching him and it gets red and M says “007!”.

The tinkly tunes and asian beauties of You Only Live Twice. Little Nellie ruling the skies! Sean Connery as Bond-san. Space Rockets!

I happened to recently watch the ones with Daniel Craig again :)

I never watch the ones before that again, the real old ones I've never seen. Too bland and old-fashioned for my taste.
And I need action scenes to be realistic otherwise I lose interest.
That's why I love the Daniel Craig movies so much!

Not sure if I'll watch whatever or whomever they come up next.
Daniel Craig is a very tough act to follow.
And no more Judy Dench...

Also... I didn't like the political correctness of getting a black woman in as 007 in the last movie. I'm not a fan of the political correctness hype.

I like Pierce as well. Good actor, attractive, and indeed made a good believable Bond.

That is also my favourite Brosnan. I love Halle in it and the fencing scene is wonderful. Brosnan with the beard and then shaving it off. Amazing! My brother and I actually took my grandfather to see it at the cinemas. My grandfather's name was James and he would sign/ tag everything with "007". It would drive my grandmother insane. After we watched the film I asked my grandfather, "what was the last Bond he saw at the cinema?" He said, "Dr No" 🥺🥺

Javier is great. Both Daniel & Judy Dench said in an interview he was the creepiest bad guy ever, hihi.

I was amazed -kinda shocked- when he was at Graham Norton's and his English turned out to be very bad? But a lovely man nonetheless.

One of the great scenes in Skyfall is with Javier and Bond deep in the Tube when he blows that hole in the wall and that train comes hurtling in.
If memory serves they had to get that scene one right in one go, couldn't do it over.
