Incarcerated for what? What do you know that the Congressional Republicans don't, because they openly admit they've got no real evidence against Biden. Some of them have already admitted that they're only holding the hearings to politically damage Biden for the elections next year.

Trump, meanwhile, has four indictments (not including the superseding indictments) with 91 charges, and those are just for the easy-to-prove crimes Trump's done. If they went after everything he's done the list might be 4x longer.

He can still run for president and he can still pardon hisself if he wins the White House.

Questioning an election isn't a crime. Abusing official powers and leading a criminal plot to overthrow the election is. Big difference.

It's not clear that Trump can pardon himself. That might be for the SCOTUS to rule on, if Trump is reelected and tries it.

Also, if Trump is convicted in Georgia, he can't pardon himself, and won't be eligible for pardon until 5 years after serving his sentence.

First … he will not be found guilty in Georgia, that is a bulls* it charge that is based on pure speculation. The bank had no problem with his paperwork. And the loan was paid in full.. show me any proof that he led or enticed the overthrow of anything…on the contrary , we here more and more of the election interference the democrats played part in in 2020… where is all your angst for the other sides interference ?

If the charges are bogus then why do you suppose some of his co-conspirators have already pled guilty? The way I see it, D.A. Willis only brought the charges she knew she could prove, so unless the Republicans in Georgia can block the case, Trump's going to prison, for sure.

You may have some of Trump's cases mixed up. There's no bank involved in Trump's indictment for racketeering in Georgia. Maybe you're thinking of the N.Y. case, and charging somebody of bank or insurance fraud doesn't require proof of damages. Fraud is illegal all by itself.

Lastly, the only reason this is interfering in Trump's election is because Trump committed crimes that took a while to investigate (no thanks to Bill Barr) and Trump hurriedly raced to declare his candidacy to preempt the charges--which didn't work. This mess is Trump's own fault. Biden has kept out of it and nobody's telling the DOJ what to do on this. It's simply applying the law to crimes already committed.

You are right Mortman I was mixing up the Georgia case with the NY case… but with the Georgia case he is charged with the RICO act.. this will be hard to convict him on because of it’s vagueness, Rico violations are murder , gambling, kidnapping, arson, mail fraud, with a continuous pattern to commit fraud with attempt to harm. His only crime( not a crime) was to tell his people in Georgia to find him enough votes to secure a win in that state, makes since if you think the votes were their but somehow went away. It’s like when Bill Clinton said , it depends on what the word ‘ is’ is.during his impeachment. The others in that trial have pleaded guilty on other charges. No one has been proved guilty, they have pleaded out.

You might be thinking of the federal RICO law, which probably applies to those crimes you listed, but I hear it's different in Georgia, where it's just a group of people furthering a criminal effort. Notice the two people who pled guilty are lawyers--people who know how to read the law, so they know better than most that the case and evidence against them is solid. They pled out on the lesser charges, agreeing to testify for the prosecution. Probably because a RICO conviction requires at least five years in prison. Also, RICO is only one of the 13 counts against Trump.

As far as "not a crime" telling people to find votes: In Georgia, it's illegal to solicit a state official (e.g. SecState Brad Raffensburger) to violate their oath of office. (count 5 in the indictment). You know they've got him on tape. I don't know how hard it is to prosecute RICO, but D.A. Willis has already done it twice before in Georgia so... good luck.

The only case against Trump that has legs is the documents case and those legs are awful short. He had those documents legally and they were bullying him for documents he had a right to have. He should've just given them to them but he stood up to the bullying and i admire him for it. Might I add those documents were more secure then Obamas which were in a abandoned warehouse ( maybe a bowling alley) in Chicago with no alarm system. Now the documents Biden had were in his possession totally illegally. The VP does not have any legal right to remove top secret documents from the secure facility of which they are stored. Now that is a serious charge. Why is he not arrested ? Where is his mugshot?

I agree that Trump shouldn’t be Saying these things, Haley should stay in the primary until she feels ready to get out. This primary is not over, give voters a chance outside of two small states..
