Over the past two weeks I've started to get 10-20 "new people who've viewed my profile" daily, from all over the states and 30 years younger. Could this be generated by Mingle?

If you have noticed when you log in they show about a half a dozen people that might Like you.. If not careful you could accidentally click on it and send out that you liked their profile.. Therefore even that will generate more views and likes.
Yes they are trying to make it easier than searching through profiles one by one.. Plus the automatic e-mails that they send to others to break the ice... Which many have no clue those are going out.. You don't see them in your in-box on your side.. And when the other member gets the email, they may think you sent them .. Therefore they tend to look at your profile more.. And hit like... Hummm well plus As far as Mingle sending the likes for members.. no.. They have just made it easier for those that do.. Honestly I delete my Likes and Matches every day just about... Regardless from today or 6 months ago I still get a lot of likes & matches, I don't see a difference..They have always been a wide variety of ages and distance.. These new features they put in are to help those that don't take the time to reach out... Just a way to break the ice ... |

I'm getting between 200 - 400 views a day.
It's actually already started to piss me off. |

You lads are just so popular

Innovatively designed to bring in the interest levels but if those were profiles who are scammers and AI BOTS hardly a handful of real ones but nooo, they shouldn't be that psychology gang

You lads are just so popular Not funny. I'm actually giving serious thought to deactivating my account because of it. |

You lads are just so popular Ya , being US citizens accounts for the popularity of these lads ... plus easy targets for scammers .... I am to far North to have to deal with this ..... |

Yeah, all these fake "who viewed me" things are annoying, not actually doing a thing to help anyone meet in real life, and are not fooling anyone. In fact, when there are over a dozen at a time every morning, nobody goes through each and everyone (I certainly don't). The odds are if there really IS a legit one near my home (unlikely), I may actually pass it up in my attempt to delete all the FAKE "who viewed me"'s pushed out there by Mingle. Wish they would just leave it alone and if the site is worthy (barely), it will stand on its own merits.

You lads are just so popular I only get a maximum of 10 likes per day. What again is the opposite of "popular"? |

It's getting downright stupid now here on Mingle. Dozens and dozens of "who viewed me now"s, all throughout the day, with a very high concentration of Asian women profiles, 99% which are fake. I'd rather Mingle just leave it alone instead of trying to conjure up business or trying to show its site is more active than it really is.
It sucked before and was mildly annoying with all the fake profiles but now these fake profiles are seemingly being "pushed" into my feed by Mingle. I don't believe for a second that 50 beautiful Asian girls per day are looking at my profile in my small town. I've not seen one improvement in this site in the years I've been here. Some changes, but none for the benefit of the user. Once they screw up the forums somehwow, this site will be history. |

I just looked....hundreds!
Deleted 3 pages and not one worth a click. Its click bait. I guess mingle gets click revenue? Funny, I also have a few pages of messages even tho I have TAKEN: NOT LOOKING in my profile. I find it amusing. |

What was new is getting a popup once a day with 9 I might like. So they're suggestions for me by Mingle.
All 9 are already checked, so if I just click, or I believe press 'enter' as well, it sends a "like" out to each of them. I did that once, got a few back, so now I am more careful. And right before that popup appears a larger one which -I think- is an advertisement for Mingle. Not even sure as I'm not interested. I get rid of it, then wait 2 secs for the smaller one to appear with the suggestions, get rid of that too, and Bob's your uncle. It's only once per 24 hrs, so I don't really care, although I'd rather not have it. I do not, however, get a pop-up of who viewed me. I'd have to check my account for that, which I don't do as I ain't interested :p |
