I was in a hybrid yesterday. Part electric, part petrol. The car is charged as you drive. An interesting car.

I fell in love with the sound of huge gas guzzling American V8s when I was 10. I will sorely miss them when they're gone.

I have a 2019 ram quad with 5.7 V8 that can get 22+mpg but can light the tires. Same engine in lighter vehicle and some tweaking no telling what is possible |

Yup , I miss my old Chevy Lumina V6... she was a smooth ride as any , but when gas prices went up to near a dollar a litre , it was time to to get a smaller Mazda3... a basic with no frills ....

That's funny, I got a V6 lumina when gas was $4 a gallon to save fuel. Drove a Chevy 3/4 ton with 454 before. Kept the pickup for trailers, it's a hoss ! |

Gimme that V8 with a bore kit in a vehicle with a carb and distributer... |

4 dollars a gallon???? Here I was thinking the gas has reached an all time high at 3 dollars plus a gallon , only since Joe took over !!!
Chevy Lumina was the car of choice for the NASCAR series .....it's why I got one .... |

Love a carbed engine with distributor actually the only kind I want to work on. Do like HEI over points though

Got the Lumina in 2008 I think, gas was high as a cat's back. Sold it to a older feller at church for $200, it was nice in and out, everything worked, ran a hole in the wind. Then bought a new short bed dodge with v 6. There was cash for clunkers back then so could have traded that car in for thousands more but didn't |

i was always loyal to the domestic cars ... chevy , dodge , plymouth crysler and my favourites Oldsmobiles .... but when the imports got cheaper i switched to the Camry from Toyota and now Its Mazda ...
i always will remember my first Dodge Aries "K Car "... she was a reliable 4 door sedan .... if I did not wipe out on the highway that first winter .... i would probably be still driving her ... ha ha!! |

I'm domestic as well unless it's dirt cheap. The only imports I'm a sucker for is the Suzuki samurai. Now have 3. |

I did like their bikes , but I had a Honda to ride when much younger ... but no loyalty to the Honda brand .... unless it was a two stroke generator ...for camping !!! |
