I personally do prefer older men. But not dirty old men though. I'm in my late 30s and my age preference is 40s to mid 50s.

It depends on the man. When I was in my 20 -and a few yrs before even- I was interested in older man. Which would be end 30s and in their 40s. I think up to mid-forties, not really older than that.

But not just any man. Only confident man that had a certain charm, life-experience, and had a lot going for them in life. And ALWAYS well-groomed and clean.
So never sleezy lazy older man.

I think this was also because of the love novels as in those the woman would get involved with a slightly older man. Again ranging from mid/end 30s - mid 40s and the girl early-mid 20s so there's be quite the age gap.
But... at that age it doesn't matter so much.

And as some think and bleat: it has nothing to do with money. That's just men projecting their own loneliness and unhappiness in life.
It's all about the older man having confidence, being mature, and ready/willing to commit whereas the younger counterparts are still more like boys with toys.

I prefer to date within 10 years of my age. However, I have dated a bit older, and much younger. I had a FWB relationship for 10 years with someone 27 years younger.
