Topic: Why would a friend hide her entire pregnancy from me?

A past Romantic relationship/ current friend became impregnated from her ex. Me and her talked to each other regularly her entire pregnancy. But I never saw her we just talked on the phone because we weren’t living close at that time. When I moved back to her area towards the end of her pregnancy She refused to see me. It had me feeling a certain type of way. But I didn’t understand why. About five day after she had her baby. I get this text
“I was embarassed and didn't know how to tell you that I was pregnant again. For that Im sorry.” I find all this out after. I’m looking for some insight? Everyone else in her life knew about her being pregnant. Why did she hide it from me?

She said it herself...she was embarassed. Maybe people have judged her and she was afraid of your judgement too?

If you care about her, talk to her and tell her you are proud of her for choosing to be a single parent. It is a huge commitment. Women have sex and risk getting pregnant, men do not have that risk, despite having sex too flowerforyou

She was hoping to get back with you and knew you'd not want to when you found out that she boned her ex.

Or (and most likely)...

She a ho.

Mystery solved.

Yes of course. Woman is always wrong!
How bout this: she couldn't afford birthcontrol as the US has a crap healthcare system, and the ex partner didn't give a chit and demanded sex regardless. Men usually don't want to use condoms.
Then she was stuck with a pregnancy while the man just left her. She was embarrassed to tell the OP that she let the ex force her.

It really depends on the type of man the author of this post is? Such swift judgements are unneccessary. Many men are willing to raise another man's child.
No one knows the facts.
I am sure she kept quiet because of this type of male judgement. If I was her friend, I would be proud of her for not taking the easy way out and terminating the pregnancy. Who is to know whether she was 4 months pregnant when her last relationship dissolved? She needs admiration IMO.

Birth control for females is FREE in the U.S.,
via any community health clinic.
Every community in the U.S. has at least one.

Knocked up isn't what makes her a ho.
LYING about it, is.

She never lied. She never disclosed she was pregnant.

Hi Mike

Must have been a shock for you . Hope you are coping okay .

Sounds a little like your arrival caught her by surprise . Had you talked about moving back home ?
You said you had only talked with her ... Have you seen her since you arrived ? Although you say you are friends now was your plan to become more than friends ?

You don’t need to answer any of my questions . Her behaviour does seem a little odd . Friendship should not be a barrier to telling you she is pregnant ... unless she has indicated that she still has a romantic interest in you . waving

Hi Mike... based on what little facts we have, it sounds like her getting pregnant has happened before. You said she told you she was embarrassed to tell you she got pregnant "again". Questions to ask yourself... How did you react the first time? How did others react the first time? Were the two of you in a romantic relationship when it happened the first time?

If you really want to understand why she did what she did, put yourself in her shoes and consider what happened the last time she got pregnant. If it went poorly for her the first time, that could explain her being embarrassed to tell you it happened again.

The best way to know, however, is to ask her... and listen to what she has to say without judgement.

Best of luck to you.

She said it herself. She was embarassed at getting jizzed up by her ex and finding herself with a big baby pudding getting all baked in her mummy oven.

I still don't understand how a woman , could allow an ex to have sex with her .... after all an ex is still an ex .... unless the reasons had changed and or a ... gun was put to her head... but no judgement from this ex to ..

Come on. No one has had sex with an ex? Sometimes the door closes on the relationship bit by bit until it is finally closed. It can be a process to finally say "The End."

That's right, there's a great deal of ex sex.
