If you could only change one thing in history, what would you change?
I would change the invading dominant cultures attempts and successes of eradicating indigineous peoples and their ways in the world.

Not one damn thing.

My life isn't as bad as it used to be.
All the good and bad which happened made my life what it is right now.
Including things which happened thru history.

I've read and seen enough alternate timeline speculative fiction to realize changing history changes everything, in very unpredictable ways. Not only the big stuff but the lil stuff too.

Life is made up from the lil stuff mostly.
The big stuff happens infrequently.
The lil stuff shapes the world around you moment by moment.

Life isn't perfect, isn't going to be.
Be careful what you wish for, it always has unexpected results.
The only thing you can hope to do is to make wise decisions which affect your future. The past is in the past and it creates the present.

It would be incredibly tempting, but I wouldn't change a thing regardless. Everything that is in our past is part of our growth as a species.

It does make you wonder, doesn't it!

The Vietnam war we all could of done without! I honor the men and women who went but it sure was a disaster putting it mildly. So many lives lost and ruined!

I am glad I did not study harder. I wanted to be a lawyer. Thank God I never went that route.

I would change creation of the human race ... hate has no place in this world .

For those who believe in religious based creation .. I would love a chat with god about the creation of women from the rib of Adam .sounds a little like he was feeling tired and lazy . His idea may have had good intentions but I blame him for the path that women endured throughout history .., objectification , oppression and Inequality .
