wondering why in English the name of a mountain in Indonesia is changed. The name is Krakatau, in English it suddenly is Krakatoa. There is no 'oa' sound at the end at all though.
It sounds like the "ow" in "how". Why change the name? |

Thinking about getting this climbing tree for the kitten, or not. I don't really have the space for it, but the li'l one has got to be able to climb and scratch, and play etc.
The only spot is next to the bookcase, but I'd have to move it over a wee bit. Meaning get out a lot of books... Otherwise it's the middle of the room :/ |
