Craving a Wendy's Baconator and thinking Ensure and yogurt are not even close to a substitution.

Thinking the DEA is really stingy with the pain killers that actually work.
Eating large amounts of Tylenol all day and night CAN'T be good for you!
Wishing I had some more Oxycodone!

Maybe ask for another option? Tylenol is paracetamol and might simply not be enough for this kind of surgery.
Do bear in mind not to overdo the recommended dose as it is dangerous, VERY toxic for the liver and can permanently damage it, and as such be a cause of dying. Most people think, "Oh, it's only paracetamol, can't do harm to take more" but it can do serious harm.

Maybe Diclofenac is an option? Way stronger than ibuprofen and good for more serious pain. But I think you have to use stomach protectors with that, as you should with Ibuprofen too.
Ask your doctor! Good luck flowerforyou

Doc specifically said Absolutely No NSAIDS! (ibuprofen or naproxen)
The pain is not at the operation site, it is lower in my digestion track.
I've readjusted my eating habits to a semi-liquid diet and the pain is less but it sux because I'm sick of eating that stuff, I want a cheeseburger or some fried chicken!
I think I was trying to rush my diet recovery.
I did pick up some tylenol arthritis extended release 8 hour 650 mg.
It works better than the normal tylenol and I don't need as much.

Thinking I need to stop trying to rush my recovery and let my body heal more before I attempt a cheeseburger.

I was thinking about that, NSAIDs being okay or not.
Well, paracetamol it is then, hihi. The extended release might indeed be better, and easier.

And by all means allow your body time!! I remember when I had my gall bladder removed -not the full abdominal surgery but laparoscopic- it took me a whole 4 months to recover from it! GP had said, oh, 2 weeks and you can do a marathon again!
Yeah, right!! I was shocked to find out in a painful way how much you use your belly when doing things, totally amazing! I had had no idea, hihi.
And my ailment was not as bad as yours but still considered major surgery, after all I had an organ removed, but recovery is supposed to be faster than full blown abdominal. Still took me 4 months, getting better and better all the time of course, but still.
Anywho, you cannot force nor will it!

Take your time, the cheeseburgers won't go anywhere ya know! It sux, but if it means less pain...
And very well possible that you can move away from semi-liquid quite fast. But cheeseburger will probably have to wait a bit longer!
Patience is a virtue (it pains me to say that, haha, I HATE that expression so so much!)

Thinking... how lucky River is to be so close to wolves!!
Have you seen any since you been there?

No, but I hear them every morning in the distance. Except for this morning when they sounded like they were across the yard. I didn't dare go outside, hahaha. It gets really dark here, so I wouldn't have seen them until they were on top of me.

A few customers, and my co-worker have seen the black one running around during the day, but not here in the dorm, about a mile away. Their den is within a five mile radius of here, which is unusual, they are normally deeper in the woods away from people.

Ooww... that is indeed in quite close proximity! And in that case caution may be good. I must admit that, even though I know they don't usually harm people, I wouldn't dare go out either, haha.
Amazing they get so close to where humans reside though.
What is it you hear then? Just sounds of animals moving around or are they howling/barking??
Just trying to build a bit of an image of what it's like.

They were howling. But before the one started, I thought I saw a shadow run across the road a couple of dorms away. I scurried into my room real fast, haha. A few minutes later I heard it start howling, so figured what I thought I saw was the wolf. It might have ran to the woods up the hill behind my dorm, but they all sure sounded like they were pretty much right outside my window. Usually I hear them at a distance and there's echoing. No echoing this time.

My only guess is that it's starting to get colder so the animals are moving to lower ground. The Elk are moving down as well, and the grizzlies are following them. It's that time I suppose where being even more cautious is really important.

Hmfff... that sounds quite scary!!
I guess that winter indeed is a coming and animals coming closer.
Good thing you're leaving soon! Take care of yourself, girl. flowerforyou
I saw an article yesterday or day before that a woman on horseback stumbled upon the grizzly and her cubs. So I guess they are nearer again?

I'll be careful, thanks flowerforyou

Yes, were getting grizzly sightings now. One was in the village where I work the other day. Last minute fattening up before their long winters nap... it was stalking the fawns. Fortunately the fawns got away.

What a football bummer weekend. There was no NDSU Bison game, Packers beat the 49ers, and the Brady Bucs lost to the Chargers. Didn't hear what Wentz's Colts did.
