Not directly about hair or make-up, but a really nice tv series for us :) It's called "Emily in Paris". It's from 2020, 2nd season in the making. I couldn't find anything to watch, so I thought to give it a try. Almost switched it off again as I felt at first it was more a teen thing, a bit childish. But I kept watching and it got really interesting. Still light-hearted, also fun, then there's romance, a bit of sex. And the clothes and stuff she's wearing, really cute! Basically a young woman who's working hard at a job she really loves, and in spite of a lot of opposition gets everything done in her own way. I like it! It's on Netflix. I will look for it. I have just watched The Innocent on Netflix, so many twists in it. I wonder if all nations get the same Netflix fims and series? Probably not. HBO isn't the same either. I think it depends on what a network in a country pays copyright etc. for. On Dutch version of HBO I could not watch the same as my girl in the US so it was useless to me. I'm guesstimating it's the same with Netflix. |

while at a prayer meeting the other day ... the question was thrown out .... where do women have the curliest of hair... my answer got me dirty looks ... ... apparently the right answer was ... Aftica.. it was suggested I find another prayer group!! Wow, are you ever showing your age. Many women spend as much time managing the other hair on their body as they do the hair on their head. Have you ever heard the expression do the curtains match the rug? Well if you keep up with trends you would know hardwood is currently in style. Ya, some may have a throw rug here or there, but others like that clean polished look too. It's not the 1970's when wall to wall shag carpet was in style. Maybe some of the women will share these secrets with each other later on in the thread and you will understand better. |

Maybe tile would have been a better example for where you are at? Looking back hardwood may have a couple different meanings, but not many are doing wall to wall carpet anymore. Even some men are getting into manscaping.

While I may be showing my age , you are certainly showing where your mind is i.. in this instance , it's totally in the gutter .... it's a given that most women in Africa have the curliest of hair ... on their head ... oh ! Oops sorry you did not get the play on words there ... But hey ! Thanks for the lesson ... I don't know any women with hardwood , I stupidly thought only men had that .... dang !! You learn something new everyday !!! |

What sort of games are they Cat?? america's favourite past time .... the game of baseball .... this is a break in the season when the best of the best , richest of richest players of all different teams get divided up to form two opposing teams and play a grand game of baseball .... also a chance for players to showcase their individual talent .... its quite interesting if you follow the game of Baseball!!! unfortunately I dont .... but Cat is an avid fan , that I do know ....along with millions of North Americans and others around the world !! n |

Watched the Home Run Derby last night and the All-Star game tonight. Really fun games. I was really cheering for Trey Mancini in the home run derby! As an Orioles fan he is one of the few good things about the team right now. |

while at a prayer meeting the other day ... the question was thrown out .... where do women have the curliest of hair... my answer got me dirty looks ... ... apparently the right answer was ... Aftica.. it was suggested I find another prayer group!! I have never been down to Aftica so how was I to know? Apparently you did not know either! I do go down to the Y once in awhile, I'm not much on prayer, but trust me there have been a time or two that I have prayed going into the Y. My mind in the gutter? I was just pointing out current trends in the housing market. You know like how some women like letting the prairie grass grow and the forest to be natural, well others keep the grass mowed and the hedges trimmed. The there are others that pull the grass and bushes out by the roots. Why would a woman want to trim or remove the big bush outside her front door? Well if someone goes down to her house and things are going well she probably doesn't want somebody to have to stop to pull a twig out of their mouth. And if somebody does come in her front door it is much easier to clean up afterwards. Others do it just because it feels good or they like the way it looks. I won't even get into maintenance of the back door because many won't let you enter that way anyway. I could also talk about cats too, I don't really have the ability to post pictures, but some women prefer long hair cats, others like short hair cats, now they have those hairless cats that people are really getting into. The only reason I thought of this was because the women were talking about hair length. |

Youβre worrying about a twig in your mouth when you should be watching for the woman whoβs gonna kick the balls out of your yard.
