Good band. from 50 years ago. big hit in their day. loads of variation if you have to explain who the Beatles are ....it kinda defeats the purpose.... they are too famous for music lovers not to have heard of them and continue to listen to these great oldies OR am I just to presumptions??? |

I don't ever listen to The Beatles. They had some great songs, yes, but old music, and not really my thing.
I think it can be more of a phase when you're a teenager and going through music stuff. Like I had a HUGE Elvis phase when a teenager. That started when he died and they had his gigs on tv then. Lasted for years, my entire room was wall papered in Elvis posters, haha. My son went through an Elvis and Tom Jones phase when he was a teen. Never Beatles. I think I have most known Beatles songs in my music library, but I never play them. |

OT : with a little Help from my friends.... |

Over played, blown out of proportion. I like to listen to Real (British invasion) Rock & Roll: The Who!

Two things are banned from my presence.
Patchouli, and the Beatles. |
I like some of their songs but don't actively listen to their albums.

I listen to The Beatles.
Hey, Jude.
I first know the song in a Chinese movie, and I love that song so much. |
I love the Beatles and most other bands from 60s like the stones, and because of the amazing guitar Jimi Hendrix
It was Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin that got me into playing guitar and then to playing professionally in a band for quite some time back in the day.

The Beatles will always remain as my go to band .. The music just lives on ...
So yeah I still listen to their music !!! |
I hear ya Slim. They were all such talented musicians and wicked songwriters it's hard for anyone who knows music to argue.
Also the Beatles went through many different stages and styles of music from pop rock early in their careers to the killer acid rock at the end of the 60s.
They will live on forever unlike most of the new bands. Then again I grew up in that era.
