The outbreak of the coronavirus has changed travel situation in the world dramatically. To contain the virus, global travel restrictions are in effect which caused many borders to fully close. With this, whatโ€™s one thing you DONโ€™T miss about traveling?

I would say flight changes, delays, or cancellations.

In the last month and a half I've been on a plane 5 times. I have worked for airlines in the past and used to be on a plane at least twice a month. In the first years I liked it, then I didn't mind, now I really don't like it anymore. I love to travel and see different places, I just hate the real flight part of it. I definetely do not miss turbulences. If I have a choice, I prefer trains.

I would have to say complex visa requirements. I believe if a person wants to live in a foreign country they should be able to as long as they do not have infectious diseases and do not have a serious criminal record. It would be great if more countries created visas that are renewable indefinitely. One reason I like living in Cambodia if a person wants to stay one can get the ordinary visa and basically renew it indefinitely as long as you can get a letter stating someone wishes to employ you.
The travel restriction frustrate me as I was in the process of applying for a Z visa so I can work in China and thanks to the US government who planted the disease in Wuhan I am unable to go. to further my pain the US closed the Chinese Consulate in Houston on Fabricated charges where I normally get background checks authenticated.
Finally, it also affects my dating life. In normal times I could meet a lady in Moscow Russia to tour red square a few weeks from now and the week after I could meet a lady in Sao Paulo Brazil and tour Tataupe mall, and a week after that I could have a karaoke date with a Japanese girl in Osaka Japan.

I don't miss anything at all about traveling by plane. Crammed in with a bunch of strangers for hours, bad food, can't move around when you want, too many rules about what you can bring, delays. The last time I flew was about 15 years ago. I don't think I'll go on a plane again.

I live in paradise ... Travel within New Zealand has been possible throughout much of covid . Though our international borders remain closed ... there is still a lot of uncertainty with international travel and quarantines ., until that is sorted I am happy in my safe haven lol

I've had more than a lifetime supply of plane travel and can wait on the virus to go other places I'd like to go. If it's in the US I'm taking Amtrak.

I don't travel so often anymore that there are things I don't miss now. To me travelling tends to always be a joy, even when I still travelled more often and usually long flights (approx 18 hrs).

The last time I was on a plane, to the US, the sound levels were horrific! Had I been with someone we wouldn't have been able to have a conversation without shouting. That shocked me, and I sure can do without that.
It was a US airline, cheaper one I guess, that doesn't invest much in proper sound insulation.

And turbulence... I'm more scared now than in the past and all the way to the US over the Atlantic we had quite bad turbulence. Me didn't like, hihi.

Travel restrictions. But the new U.S. administration let's people in at the border with who knows what their bringing in to the country. Is there testing being conducted @ those borders?

With the ongoing pandemic and the presence of the new coronavirus variant, I hope so. Testing must be implemented to further control virus transmission. waving

oh with the covid again....its a flu....now we are afraid of a flu...

i'd travel but it's not the same, people are everywhere if they cough you just don't know...and some people you can't pay to wear a mask...

i think after a year of the lockdown inertia has set in and we don't want to do jack squat...

if i were president i would take a survey and everyone that is afraid of flying or doesn't want to would be required to fly somewhere....oh that is so wrong u might say...well what about open borders and putting them in hotels and giving them a check with our taxpayer money?

they recently figured out poor asian and african countries don't have much covid...no but they got killer bees and rhinos and all sorts of things that can kill you including the dictator government and sweden and texas and florida no one talks about anymore because they left fear behind and are barbecuing and enjoying the sun and working and ignoring the fearful government sycophants and getting themselves a life.

People from Ireland are still flying to Spain in masses. But within Ireland, there is a 5km limit. Something wrong there
