Thinking about seasonal work and travel. Spending time in Alaska, and on a dude ranch are two things that were on my list that I've yet to do. It's been a little over a year since I planted myself firming in the ground in order to grow and strengthen my roots. Lately, I've been feeling the Universe is telling me it's harvest time, time to plan and choose how I want to utilize and enjoy the fruits of my labor.

I'm wondering when we can travel again, it's illegal here in the UK to travel far from your home for pleasure and holidays. I have places to go, people to see, and hols to book, as do many of us. |

Thinking... the cleaning woman was okay, but a strong woman, as am I, and she kept trying to tell me what I should do so it would make her work better.
NO effing way. I'm not going to change my life to suit a cleaner. I told her that too and that if she cannot accept that we're not a good fit. She kept nagging about dusting in the living, even though I told her NO I don't want that. I've got too many expensive crystals and I can do the dusting myself. So I'm happy the floors are clean but also stressed out. Now if she'd work fast, I'd still be happy, but she isn't. Wait and see how it pans out after a few weeks. |

You may be right! I'm still in two minds about it. But maybe I should be more decisive and ask for another one right away. I want someone who's faster and cleans how I want my house cleaned. You know what still has me PO? She was upstairs in the bathroom and needed something so she was yelling like an idiot from upstairs, in the bathroom. What idiot does that? Not even my children did that. I would never have done when i was still cleaning houses. |
