Not really feeling too good these past few days  I have this intense sharp, shooting pain in the left side of my neck that’s radiating up from the top of my shoulder. It’s giving me a headache  ! It’s also very sore to the touch. I can’t turn my head very far to either side....it hurts so bad  and I can’t sleep  hurts when I lie down so I’m sitting up on the sofa for a while.
Going to go to the Med Express clinic later today. I hope it’s nothing serious! 
I feel for you Dee! Such things can be horribly painful. It sounds like you got a muscle in a twist. Can't you make a physio appointment asap? And a painkiller to take the edge off but also so the surrounding muscles can relax a bit more. Good luck girl! |

I found out that I have a severe muscle spasm and tendinitis in my neck. I’m taking some muscle relaxers and Rx Ibuprofen for pain, so I’ll be going to sleep  soon... I was up all night in pain  but I’ll check back later when I’m feeling better

Tying a bag of ice to the back of your neck for 20 minutes after any flareups can help keep forward progress on it healing up. Swelling, part of an immune response to prevent infection, is less when the environment is super cold, and this can be good because too much swelling can put strain on cellular tissues and the cold can keep it stable,

Happy I drove to my mother and back. It was good and driving went well! First time I believe since my dizzy spell I felt confident enough to drive that far to see her.
Happy my handbag arrived in Ridderkerk, near Rotterdam today! Maybe just a few more days... depending on customs I guess. I'd be even happier if I'd be typing this from bed, but hélas... I have to go up and brush my teeth etc. before I can get into bed... |
