I could do an Irish coffee, provided I only get 1/3 of the normal amount of whiskey in it, haha. Even that is enough for me, grin. And I like a lot of whipped cream on top of it One of the guilty pleasures in life. ANd one of the few occasions I actually like whipped cream, lots of it!

It's Irish coffee weather here at the minute, think I'll wait till after breakfast though, easy on the cream..

Weather sucks here as usual; it gets almost as hot here as anywhere and it gets almost as cold also!
And this part of the state (which I hate) is humid as hell. It was about 95 today and more of the same for who knows how long. |

Weather sucks here as usual; it gets almost as hot here as anywhere and it gets almost as cold also! And this part of the state (which I hate) is humid as hell. It was about 95 today and more of the same for who knows how long. I couldn't believe it when I found out what the weather in America is like. Okay, I knew that up north it could get really really cold and that NY could be insanely cold or insanely hot. But I didn't know that the mid- and southern parts of the country were so stinking hot and dry or stinking hot and humid. To hear that there were (are?) malaria problems was a shock. The Indians must be a really strong people to be able to live and survive there! I remember going outside in Alabama, and it was so dry and the wind felt like getting sandblasted. It affected my eyes and eyesight, I couldn't see Jack anymore, haha. And I figured that you'd age about 10-20 years in looks if you'd live there for a year due to the sandblasting. It wasn't sand really, just that wind. God awful!! I do wonder, are there parts in the US with a more moderate climate? |

phew, after that dark grey morning it cleared up, hazy skies & sun.
Then the expected rain and thunder came, holy crap, heavy rain!! After that it cleared up again, clear blue skies and sun, but unfortunately the forecast wind seems to rear its head now. But what weird weather!! Now best get prepped for the 3-day heatwave! |
