Got pulled over once,
for doing 37 in a 35.

What i did?
Made fun of, and taunted deputy Fife.
Told him to stfu, and just write the f'n
ticket.

(judge throws out any ticket
for less than 6 mph over posted.)

The last speeding ticket I got was in 2008.
Doing 90 in a 70mph zone.
The cop changed it to 83mph because at 90 in a 70 it was considered "Reckless Driving" and he would have to take me to jail.
15 mph over the posted speed limit is reckless driving.

I set my cruise control to 75 on a 70 highway.
Basically, 5 mph over on any highway.
On city streets I either do the speed limit or slower.

Most cities have a municipal speed limit that applies to all city streets unless otherwise posted. The one in my city is 25 mph.

The last one i got was last year. The ticket was for 86 in a 60. The cop was surprised when he said his radar clocked me at 89. I was in a curve on a 2 lane country road. laugh i just told the cop i wasn't paying attention to my speed and a good song was on the radio.

Speeding; Do you whine when you get caught?
Whine? WHINE?
I would denude and start writing checks with my mouth
my *** couldn't cash.

Never had a ticket, but I can imagine that tears
might prove fruitful.

Maybe the engine would whine at the high velocity before getting caught.

Humm have had a few and got out of a few being written all due to I was honest and told them sorry was not paying attention.. It happens my fault no reason to whine..

Now I did have two different cops twice in my own neighborhood stop me one was due to the license plate light was out on my truck I had humm but it has two.. Told him that I must have hit it hooking up the trailer and did not realize it.. Actually got out of that one.. The second time was in my truck with a bail of hay on the tool box coming back from feeding the horses stopped at the stop sign that was kind of on a hill took off the hay slide back in the back of the truck. Cop pulled me over said I did not come to a complete stop..slaphead

Asked him did you see that bail of hay slide off my tool box to the bed of the truck he said yes... I said hum that was due to I had stopped and took off just a bit too fast and it slide back so he scratched his head and said well please make sure you come to a complete stop and got back in his car and left.. whoa

Nope. No whining.
Cops here in Ohio tend to frown upon wining and dining. drinks

I whine like a little girl !

Because I got caught, damn cops are so sneaky. It isn’t fair.

My last ticket was about 2 months ago on a backroad. Caught doing 104km in an 80km zone. The ***hole gave me a ticket for my actual speed. That’s the first time ever. Last year I got caught doing 140km on the highway.

Those damn cops should have to have like a big red light or something on their cars

Officer Opie pulled me over one night
for doin' double the posted on highway
50, just west of Dayton, Nevada.

It was that night, that i learned, that young
cops get real testy about being called "Opie".
And, just how much i enjoy calling young cops
"Opie".

I'm not sure if it was the look of shear terror on
my passenger's face, that I'd get us shot.
Or, watching Deputy Opie blowing a gasket.
Maybe, a combination of both.

laugh

If you ever have to run from the police, keep your iPhone wrapped in tin foil, with the edges of the foil rolled to make a good seal. Police can simultaneously track all iPhones in any given area. In college I lived in Harrisonburg, which was the safest town in Virginia, and they had an aggressive police force. You just did not break the rules. If didn’t put enough coins in the parking meter, they got a $100 fine and a hate note written on a page ripped out of the Bible. If one broke a bigger rule, like trespassing, by accident, one had to be pretty strategic to get out of it, and that meant denying having any knowledge of it. That said, it was also very nice living in a safe place where people trusted each other and would go above and beyond to do good deeds for each other.

Never got a ticket, I am cycling. But I broke a red traffic light once, got a lecture by a copper in front of a packed bus stop. Didn't get a fine though, coz I could prove, I was on an emergency call out from work

Speeding; Do you whine when you get caught?

No. I start crying and blow snot bubbles out of my nose and yell out several times "I don't want to take your penis breathalyzer! Please don't shoot me!"

...Unless it's a not so attractive female cop. Then I say "I did it on purpose so you'd have to pull me over. This counts as our first date, y'know. I may not be allowed within 500 yards of a school or playground, but I'll bet with you I could go anywhere, tracking bracelet or not. Hey, you're female, but a cop, which makes you The Man...so does that legally make you a tranny? Is that a gun in your panties or you happy to see me? Are you going to bend me over and frisk me?"

I have been pulled over a few time over the yrs ... I can't drive 55... laugh I try not to pass a lot unless its a large trucks and can't see a exit... I need coming up ...other them that a lot pass me ... I don't speed that much anymore ... being older ... know do I think the speed limit in my town is to high ...yes ... 45 through a rural town...which should only be 25... 45 is way to high for these speeding large trucks ... while people are coming in and out of the small stores we have open ... or certain turns that people could very easily get rammed from behind from the large trucks if your stopped and have to turn ... on a blind curve ... and trucks speeding an can;t stop in time ...

but so many accidents have happened on this rd ... I am surprise I am the only one who cares ... something should be done about it but been like that since before I moved here ... but if I am speeding I would take responsibility for myself if my fault ...

funny story ... yesterday I saw a chair I like an needed ... well did not fit in my car ... new deliver would cost more then the chair ... so I put my top down and he put it in my back seat ... I had worn a heavy jacket that day with a hood ... past a few cops ...people looking weird at me ... but took it slow rofl and made it home ... great find for the price ... really ... helps my back to ... driving keep thinking... I am legal right ...laugh

Best way to avoid a ticket? Admit to your wrong doing. Don't cry or whine. Admit it up front.

I went speeding past a cop two years ago. He pulled me over, and I ADMITTED that my insurance was expired. A biggie! My penalty? Drive home, get your insurance issue straightened out. No ticket, no impound, no nothing. I've been pulled over a couple times. Each time, admitted my fault, and got off with a verbal warning.

You do it your way, I'll do it mine. Bet I get off before you do.

I've never gotten a speeding ticket because everyone is always going faster. I'll be on a highway with 75 mph speed limit and I'm doing 80 in the right lane, the slow lane. People pass by in the left lane like crazy. I think, good luck to you.

Here in the NYC area don't BS's the cops if you get pulled over. That will only piss them off and guarantee a ticket. Tell the truth.. better change of getting a brake.

if you have friends who are cops here, they give you a 'PBA" card ( Policemen's Benevolent Association). I have them from N.Y.C cops and also from Jersey cops. For when I am over there.

If you get pulled over,You give the cop the card with your license, registration and insurance card and you will get out of the ticket... with a warning. As long as you were not doing anything more serious then speeding and you don't act like a a^^hole.

If you are acting like that or trying to BS them, you will get the ticket.. and they will keep the PBA card ( with your cop friends name and police station number on it) and then they will call that cop and tell him that his friend (you) are a a**hole and that he took the card.

And you get no more PBA cards.
