Whether you or I or anyone else likes it or not, doesn't matter. The truth is the truth. And the truth is, the greater majority of people in the USA don't want or need a "wall". We as a nation do not need a "Great Wall" as a symbol of our country. I think it's close to 70% of the country that doesn't want it.

That's why the Democrats are putting up a fight. They know this. Thinking people know that 5 billion is just a start. If Trump really did care about border security, that trillion or more tax cut he gave the rich could have more than paid for it. But NO!. He chose the American taxpayer. Getting Mexico to pay for it was another big lie. The Democrats are the only thing standing between Trump and him breaking it off in the taxpayer's azz. AGAIN.

Thinking people know that this mess with the wall and all the hoards of illegals that were headed there was just a ruse set up by Trump and the Republicans just to get his wall. His "Trump National Monument". No national emergency. Just loads of bullshyt that he knows his in the dark followers will lap up like a thirsty dog to water.


I guess it's OK for some to live in fear. Started by fear mongers. I guess it's OK if you like believing fantasy, lies, and conspiracy. That is the subset that Trump appeals to. But I believe for the rest of us we choose to live in the light. That way we see things as they happen. We know things for what they really are. It has nothing to do with whether you are a Dem or Rep.

What it has to do with is whether you are seeing things for what they really are. Because, if you don't, that means you are lying to yourself. You refuse to see what's really there. And because of that, people like that are easy to lead. They follow without question and refuse knowledge.

It's pitiful and scary at the same time.

Problem with this theory is that trump hires hundreds of
"illegals" himself to work on his golf courses , hotels and even as personal staff
for his family . He's even assisted in securing them fraudulent green cards .
I dont think hes going to use the E-verify clause and cost himself more money to hire legal
Employees and have to pay them more money .

This is a genuine question because I see a similarity.

Obama pushed for healthcare but was wrong to say everyone would keep their doctor, since they didnt.

Trump is pushing for the wall but was wrong to say Mexico will pay for it, because they arent.

Trump is using the budget to blackmail congress into taxpayer funding the wall. Did this same technique get used when Obama was trying to push healthcare? I honestly dont remember. I dont think he held up federal pay over the issue, did he?
