Everyone wants to lay trump's problems at the feet of journalism. The majority of Americans voted against Trump, 5,000,000 more than voted for him. He wasn't/isn't popular or likable. He entered office without a mandate. There are currently 17 separate investigations into trump, his family, his organizations and his activities. I guess that journalists are filing those cases? No, Trump is getting nailed on every side and he will be crushed. His exit strategy is bleak. State courts are going after him which means a presidential pardon is out of the question, assuming Pence would even consider one. Trump's best chance is to bail out sooner than later and cut a deal to stay out of prison and still retain some of his money. Otherwise, his world is going to come crashing down and he will then realize how powerless he really is, president or not.

Trump needs a new lawyer that can lie better and not get caught.




Trump signed a letter of intent for Trump Tower Moscow project despite Giuliani insisting he didn't


"CNN’s Chris Cuomo on Tuesday showed off a letter that directly contradicts a claim made over the weekend by Rudy Giuliani, attorney for President Donald Trump.

Giuliani was asked on Sunday about a proposed Trump Tower under negotiation in Moscow prior to the 2016 presidential campaign.

“It was a real estate project,” Giuliani said. “There was a letter of intent to go forward, but no one signed it.”

However, the 2015 letter Cuomo held up had the president’s famous bold signature".

One of the reasons for lying about the Trump Tower Moscow is that the funding for the deal was dependent on a SANCTIONED Russian bank. (remember, most banks especially in the US, will no longer fund Trump projects). This is a fact. So in order for the Tower to ever come to fruition, the sanctions would have needed to be lifted, or Trump would have had to find other funding (good luck with that one). This is why there has been so much denial from the Trump camp on this Russian deal - it at the very least looks really bad in that it has the appearance of an incentive to change standing foreign policy (the Russian sanctions) for personal gain. The subsequent change in the GOP platform (at the time of the convention) with regards to Russian sanctions, further presents the appearance of betraying US interests for personal gain. This is compounded by Manafort's efforts to ease sanctions as well, perhaps for his own payoff, maybe forgiveness of the millions of $ in debt to Deripaska, or even a cut of some larger prize.


Trump and Giuliani both miss the point. It doesn't matter if he ultimately signed a binding contract. He was negotiating with people in Russia to do a real estate deal there while he was campaigning to be President of the United States of America. The mere fact he was running for office creates the opportunity for foreign influence and for him to benefit personally from his campaign. If it was no big deal and as meaningless as they would have us believe, then there would be no need for campaign finance laws. Those laws exist for a reason. INFLUENCE. So, whether a bringing contract was signed or not doesn't matter. Collusion. Mueller's got him in the crosshairs. Now it's just a matter of taking him out.

Missing here is the discussion of fundraising & spending for Trump's inauguration - a recent juicy tidbit is that the Trump Hotel in D.C. charged the inauguration $175,000 a day for a room. That will be just the tip of the iceberg - as of now, $40 million is unaccounted for. And then there's the New York Attorney General's criminal investigation of the Trump Foundation, which Trump (of course) used as a slush fund...We already know that the Trump Foundation would host "charity" events at Trump golf courses, which would then over-charge the Foundation for use of the space...so that money raised for Trump charities would be transferred to Trump businesses at price-gouging prices...it's not just unethical, cuz hey, who cares about ethics anymore, right? these are felonies...and the senior executives of the Trump Foundation are Trump & his kids, along with Allen Weisselberg, who's been handling money for the Trumps since Trump's dad ran the show...Weisselberg, incidentally, has an immunity deal, & is cooperating with prosecutors. Trump could get a get-out-of-jail-free card on anything Russia-related, & would still be up to his eyeballs in legal problems.
