Time will tell. If there was conduct unbecoming of the position of SCOTUS (that does not require crime being committed, only bias or offenses against others), it will be revealed. If not, it will be dismissed. Let it be sorted out within the guidelines of any other SCOTUS appointment.

Ford has a lot of women against her. We know that young girls usually never go anywhere alone. That includes the bathroom at parties. We know that she could have easily told if she had been assaulted. It's not like she was being raped by her step dad and had to fear going home after telling. If she didn't want to tell her parents where she was, she could have told her brothers or friends. We know a struggle would have left her clothes torn or at least her hair a mess and cause her to be shaking. Like a woman on CNN saud, she is claiming to be traumatized by a touch. She wasn't even raped and women know she is full of it. If she testifies it will have only taken her 35 years.

That is, if she doesn't back out of the thursday meeting. (I'm betting that Ford will beg off) New excuse- She doesn't fly. She'll drive. From what I heard, she served some sort of apprenticeship, to become a professor. In Hawaii. I didn't know there was an auto bridge to Hawaii! Or, perhaps she went by surf board. Row boat?

Keep it up, Ford. The more you stall and balk at this, your credibility goes swirling down the hole. What the next excuse? Your cleaning lady is coming? Your beauty shop appointment is thursday? Dog has to go to the groomer? Your car tires needs the air changed in them?

I have been assaulted three times in my life. I never told 'friends' or family about two of them. I told two people I was in a serious relatoinship with because I developed a panic response to a certain gesture that I felt was important for them to know.

She is not on trial. She had every right to attend a party with other kids and to not be assaulted during that party.


This is 2018 and listen to the attacks some here are launching against her, do we believe it was any better for girls forty years ago? please. Maybe THAT'S why she didn't bother to even say anything except to her husband and her doctor.

I was pinned by a coworker. I'm not in therapy or trying to ruin his life. I was raped by my exhusband. I didn't report because it would only cause trouble. I distanced myself from him. Most women have stories. That's how we know this woman has an agenda.

SHE is trying to paint k as a rapist, when in fact it's was teenagers partying. She was a party girl and they assumed she was there for it. They didn't rape her. They moved on to a willing party girl.

There are reason why some girls don't go to those parties. They don't want to be around drunk horny teenage guys. They choose a decent venue to hang out.

I dont commend or belittle victims for not coming forward. Maybe not trying to ruin someones life, actually is redundant, if it means leaving that someone to repeatedly victimize others without accountability. Who knows

in any case, if his character and bias are in question, before he is EVER appointed to SCOTUS, it should be investigated. If there is nothing to hide, he can explain it and things can move on.

Who has he repeatedly victimised? His record in unblemished.

We may never know, if women have to be more concerned with explaining their choices than with having their accusations taken seriously.

This man is running for SCOTUS, his character, bias, and judgment should be scrutinized. IF nothing is there, nothing is there.

This woman, if she wanted to 'ruin' his life, could have sold the story to press, or gone public, instead of writing a private letter direct and requesting anonymity or paying a therapist(confidential) to talk about it with.

Seems to me, more like she wanted there to be certainty about the character of a potential SCOTUS judge. full stop.

She is making an accusation from 35 years ago just to destroy a man's career. Nobody except Trump haters are taking her seriously. It's political b.s.
