Topic: Geeks hardly Date | |

Am I the only one with this opinion that geeks, nerds hardly think they are good enough for a date?

I guess they date nerd girls?, but you are not going to see a geek with the prom queen.. that ain't happening. ( maybe to hook up her internet.. but that's it)

But years later when their geekiness has made them rich, they get hotties chasing them, or at least showing mild interest !

I like a man to have a brain

Curious ladies:
If you had to pick ( just outright pick) a geek or a non geek man with a brain.. which would it be just pure pick.. one or the other, which would it be. |

For me it would all depend on the personality of the guy and if there was a connection.. geek or non geek if the connection is not there it ain't gonna happen.... But yea I would take a geek before I went with one that was dumb as a stump .... gotta be able to carry a conversation for me~~~ |

Like TxsGal333 said...I too have no use for a man who has no intellect. Being a geek is not a turn off....nor is *not* being a geek a turn-on.. It really depends on like i said..whether we share things in common and "get" each other... |

But there is no shortage of non geeks with a brain. I guess it just comes down to choice. Geeks have their own lifestyle ( and I am not saying that's wrong) some are attracted to that, some not. |

I think a lot of people think /believe they aren't good enough for a date with a particular someone, or group they've labeled (e.g. "brad pitts," or, "supermodels"). I think a lot of people think they're too good for a date with others. I think a lot of people in either category come up with lots of rationalizations so they don't have to recognize they are saying/believing they are too good/not good enough. I don't believe you are the only one with that opinion. I do think, in general, when people label themselves "geeks, nerds" or any number of other labels, they also accept whatever dating pool limitations that are generally associated with the label. |

I like a man to have a brain I was a geek in school and graduated #1 in Business. Do I qualify? I will not put a pocket organizer in my pocket though. I have to draw the line somewhere. |
