Just watched Battleship 2012 - 5,8 rating but my rating would be more like 8, at least! Thriller, Sci-Fi, Adventure, Action I love it! It should be on these pages already as I'd seen it before but even a 2nd watch is very much worthwhile. Great story, I really like the cast -Liam Neeson is one of 'em- and the special effects are good as well. . . . |

The Lost Symbol - 2021 - 6,9 rating - Robert Langdon TV series Thank you, Slim Gym for mentioning this one! Not with Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon. And having watched almost 4 episodes now it somehow is missing something. Maybe that's just the story itself, or the lack of Tom Hanks' energy & vibe, not sure. But I don't find it nearly as captivating as the movies, although it isn't bad either. . . . absolutely the way I feel ....and I am thinking of quitting it , after only two episodes.... it's dragging along .. too bad , cause i waited a while for it to air .... the build up to it was better .... oh ! well ??? |

Snake Eyes - 2021 -
My rating would be 8 for sure. Many gave it a really low rating because of GI Joe blablabla. I don't know that so I'm just going by what this movie offered. Apart from that I know a bit about Japanese culture, which I totally respect. Plus I love good katana fights. I'm rating it an 8, although inclined to go for 9. After saving the life of their heir apparent, tenacious loner Snake Eyes is welcomed into an ancient Japanese clan called the Arashikage where he is taught the ways of the ninja warrior. But, when secrets from his past are revealed, Snake Eyes' honor and allegiance will be tested - even if that means losing the trust of those closest to him. |

Troll Hunter - 2010
Norwegian movie but available with English subs :) It's shot as if they're making real footage. Actually, it's set up as if someone found that footage and made a film to show you all the recordings. So in that sense a bit like the Blair Witch Project. The ending was kind of open, which I always find disappointing, but that's personal :) All in all I liked it, even though I had to read subs. |
