No. But they want to limit what we seek by labeling something somebody thinks or says into a category. Then ban said category.

I think they swallowed that one too. I remember one off the founding programmers speaking of it on one of those techie shows. Anyway. As you see we only have 1 internet to use.

Plus it's too global, so no one country controls the speech, except within their own boundaries (think EU, North Korea, Iran and China as examples).

Even in first world nations like France and Germany, a lot of the US political content on YouTube is banned in those countries, and only accessible by way of a VPN (virtual private network), but the average computer user doesn't know the first thing what a VPN is, or how it's used. So they're "walled off" from a lot of what the German and French authorities deem as "controversial".

Way too many people are naive about what the Internet is and how it was created.

Not sure of the meaning of this, but Alex Jones was kicked off all the social media platforms yesterday, all except twitter closed all his accounts and removed his pages ..

spent a few years in China, and I can tell you there is a whole different internet going on there.

He would not be worth removing or fooling with if he was the fringe idiot they say he is.

YOU get to decide what you want to allow on it,and if somebody puts something you don't like on YOUR website,then you have the right to remove it,and keep it from happening again!



but,if alex jones wants to start HIS OWN website,as long as what he puts on it doesn't violate any laws,then he is free to post whatever type of crap he wants to on it,no matter hHOW OFFENSIVE some people might find it!
