Sure it can work... the key is that both people have to want such and both work to facilitate it. I had a long distance once and it was more work than a real life relationship and the first few weeks very uneasy

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with a distance relationship. Both people involved should work together because relationship is not one sided. If both parties doesn’t agree then there’s a problem.

Yes, I do. You need to trust each other. But you cannot really know each other on the internet. So try to meet face to face as soon as you can.. see if you like their smell.. I myself love a fresh-out-of-the-shower look and smell. So please take a shower before you meet me. As Marvin Gaye's song says... 'Cause baby there ain't no mountain high enough Ain't no valley low enough Ain't no river wide enough To keep me from getting to you babe ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Having been there done that, I know they’re not for me. It
involved more decision making than I was prepared to make, even for *love*. |

Topic: do you believe in long distance relationship? Ordinarily, I'd be screamin', Hell No! But, this week, and this week only, Mingle2 shoppers, I believe in LDR's. :dancing gnome emoji: I cannot remember what movie it was... people in some establishment, someone feeling like you, and another person pointing at him, saying "I'll have whatever he's having!" I do not believe in LDR. Even when you live a few hour's drive apart it's difficult. You have to really get to know one another, meaning see each other regularly, and keep doing that at least until past the pink glasses disappear so you know what you're truly dealing with. Then spend a few weeks together, see if it still is great. Do that for a total of about a year, year and a half at least. Only then, maybe, you got something. Can be a costly business to see each other. Other than that it can be fun, entertaining, make you feel good and so on. Nothing wrong with it, except that it keeps you from finding someone with whom you can build a real thing. That generally how I see it. |
