Yes, I've seen such statistics since my youth.
Here is a bit more informational tidbits:

Fideisms

Judaism is the Semitic monotheistic fideist religion based on the Old Testament's (1000-600 BCE) rules for the worship of Yahweh by his chosen people, the children of Abraham's son Isaac (c1800 BCE).

Zoroastrianism is the Persian monotheistic fideist religion founded by Zarathustra (c628-c551 BCE) and which teaches that good must be chosen over evil in order to achieve salvation.

Christianity is the West Eurasian monotheistic fideist religion professing that Jesus of Nazareth (c6 BCE - c30 AD) is the descendent of Abraham and the Son of God whose sacrifice for humanity's sins was recorded in the New Testament (c50-100), and who fulfilled the prophecies of the divinely inspired Old Testament.

Islam is the Middle Eastern monotheistic fideist religion professing surrender to the will of Allah (God), whose revelations in the Old and New Testaments were superseded by the Koran revealed to Muhammad (c570 - 632-06) for his chosen people, the children of Abraham's son Ishmael (c1800 BCE).

Sikhism is the Punjab monotheistic fideist religion founded by Guru Nanak (1469-1539) and whose sacred Adi Granth (1604) overlays a spartan righteousness onto Hindu cyclical cosmology.

Mysticisms

Hinduism is the South Asian polytheistic mystical religion based on the Veda scriptures (c1000 BCE) and professing a cyclical cosmology, an ultimate reality called brahman, gods Vishnu and Shiva, and reincarnation of atman (soul) under the influence of karma.

Taoism is the Chinese polytheistic mystical religion based on the Tao-Te-Ching ascribed to Lao Tzu (c550 BCE) and which advocates a path (tao) of minimalist serenity and reverence for various deities.

Shintoism is the Japanese polytheistic mystical religion involving mainly the observance of customs and festivals honoring various deities.

Jainism is the Indian pantheist mystical religion founded by Mahavira (599-527 BCE) and which blends monastic asceticism with Buddhist cyclical cosmology.

Buddhism is the East Asian nontheistic mystical religion founded in India c525 BCE by the Buddha, who taught that existence is cyclical suffering caused by desiring and can be overcome by the "eightfold path" of right thought and deed.

Confucianism is the Chinese nontheistic mystical religion based on the sayings of Confucius (c500 BCE) recorded in the Analects, and which teaches social order, scholarship, filial reverence for family and ancestors, and divination.

Most humans attempt to understand the world through faith or mysticism. Of the major groups of believers, only agnostics and atheists avoid both faith and mysticism.

Why would you add Judaism to that? It's a minuscule amount of people, and they don't believe in Jesus. Also, after 2000 years of preaching the gospel that Christians preach, it's pretty sad that only 1/3rd of humanity is even nominally Christian, and there is some serious debate as to whether or not Catholics are Christian at all. Real Christians don't pray to dead human beings or call priests, "Father."

Christianity is still the largest religion in the world today. If you add Judaism to that you have a substantial population counted.

The most common belief among Americans is that ancient, advanced civilizations -- like the lost city of Atlantis -- once existed. Ask two people if they believe in Atlantis, and at least one of them will probably say yes.

Read more here: http://www.sacbee.com/news/nation-world/national/article180980291.html#storylink=cpy

The other most common belief is in ghosts; more than half of Americans believe that places can be haunted by spirits.

More people believe that aliens visited Earth in our early days (35 percent) than believe they are visiting us now (26 percent), the study found, though a separate study from Ipsos found that eight in 10 people believe in life on other planets, and more than half believe that UFOs have visited Earth.

So, half of all people believe in Atlantis, ghosts and about 1/3 believe aliens are visiting Earth right now or have in the past.

This tells me that people, in general, do not have a firm grasp of reality.

If 1/3 of the people are Christians, so what?

The other night I was
Walking down the street
I was getting kinda hungry
I decided to get me something to eat

Now I passed up all the chain
Franchise joints on Hamburger row
And stopped at a little greasy spoon place
I always eat at called Eat, Sit and Gulp

Get you one of the greasy hamburgers
All peppered up, lay you up in the
Hospital for about ten days

So I ordered me up a
Couple of those grease bombs
Waitress brought 'em over
Lifted up the bun, checked 'em out
Damn, no ketchup

So I nudged the guy sitting next to me
At the counter, I said, hey, partner
How about passing the ketchup over

Suddenly, this little bitty green hand
Holding a ketchup bottle came into view
And I freaked cause the guy sitting
Next to me was a Martian

Now in twenty-eight years of eating hamburgers
I ain't never run into no Martian
Not at 2: 30 in the morning and certainly
Not at a fine scarfing establishment like Eat

Well, he was sitting over there with a
Bunch of colored sticks on his plate
And I looked over at him and I said
What you eating there, boy, crayons
He said, why no
they're Martian cigarettes

Here, try one

Well, 'bout half hour later
He looked over at me and smiled
Them Martians ain't got
But two teeth in their head
And he said, how do you feel

And I said, well, I feel so good
Yeah, I do, gonna boogie

Meanwhile, back at Eat's
I was still thinking, I said
How come out of all the places
You could have landed
You wound up here

He said, well, according
To my lunar space map
This town here is supposed to be
The boogie capital of the U.S.A

So I asked him, I said
Now, where else you been, boy
And he told me

He said, I've rocked 'em over
And I've rocked 'em down
Rocked 'em in the country
I've rocked 'em in town
Rock and roll been so good to me

? A lady and she asked my name
Told her my name was on ten of my shirt
Told her, rocking chair Martian
Don't have to work

Yeah, I feel so good
Yeah, yeah, gonna boogie
Martian boogie

I wonder if Hilary felt that way when she lost the election.

I'm glad that Hillary didn't win, but the reason she didn't is because the system is not democratic. In a democratic system, the person with the most votes of the people wins. She had the most votes. 3 Million more people voted for Hillary than voted for Trump. We have a very humanly flawed system.

71:2.3 Popular elections may not always decide things rightly, but they represent the right way even to do a wrong thing. -The Urantia Book

And speaking of Christians, where are all the "WWJD" (What would Jesus do?) bracelet wearing Christians demanding that we treat refugees the way Jesus would treat them? This border chaos, the murder of a 20 year old Guatemalan woman, and ripping children away from parents, is a resultant evil from the fact that the people's will in the election was thwarted by a flawed system.

Of course, my statements on Hilary were designed to show how polls and the predictions of men are fallible and unstable.

Religion is a code of living that brings spiritual life. If God had not been shown to me, as he was by the work of Jesus, i would not have a soul, and I would be useless with the world. Christianity is available, for those in need, as it is a major religion. For the minorities, I don’t know how they fare. Many of them are probably searching for something like us folks on Mingle are searching for something.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I never said Christianity is the oldest of the Abrahamic religions. I said it is the largest.

As I predicted, there is alot of BS floating around in this thread.

And who do you refer to when you say "you guys"?

I might take a guess and say that ISA is the name of a Bible program, the Interlinear Scripture Analyzer. It is free to download and it uses the Ancient NT manuscripts, as opposed to the Modern ones.

(I am the walrus)?

for any religion to be a religion, it has to have 100 percent past, present and future predictions or it is no religion at all.

There is only one religion that does that.
Christian.
