I love me some Donald Sutherland ...and that one sounds like is has some resemblance to Tommy (1975). The Top o' the Food Chain looks like it be a great Sat Night Popcorn movie...I'll have to put them on my gotta see list. So far today I've watched Blue Chips (1994) and Varsity Blues (1999). |

Top of the Food Chain (1999) quote:
Dr. Karel Lamonte, Atomic Scientist: An atomic scientist's life can be very lonely. There aren't many atomic lady scientists after all.
Dr. Karel Lamonte, Atomic Scientist: We found the remains of a dead human corpse, deceased, in the hilly, lumpy, bumpy part of town outside of town.
Dr. Karel Lamonte, Atomic Scientist: A genetically engineered band of devil worshiping serial killers... or a Sasquatch type thing? I don't like the sound of that!
Officer Gayle : Where's the body now? Dr. Karel Lamonte, Atomic Scientist : Directly where I found it. Dr. Karel Lamonte, Atomic Scientist : Officer Gayle, how soon can you get that autopsy report? Officer Gayle : Depends. Dr. Karel Lamonte, Atomic Scientist : Good! Hahahahahahahaha! |

It's All Hallow's Eve. A trio of costumed misfits with very special dietary requirements seizes a Mexican cantina and force the staff to engage in a late night of gaming, food and libations. The only caveat is what's on the menu. Trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MMoEmg5JhY |

That looks interesting. I would have liked to see what Robert Rodriguez would have done with that Screenplay...It is definitely right up his alley...
However, since Today on this day, in 1961, the great actor Gary Cooper died My next film is currently Sergeant York. |

I just watch the Joker ... not for children ...
really cool ... and what a differnt kind of story... on mental illness ... I loved how all this guys problems started with a damn sign ...of course that lead to just another part of the movie ... he says to therapist... you don't understand but never told her why he was angry ... then off we go on his irate actions ... and what he found out ... about his past ... trying not to give anything away here ... and of course do not recommend anyone with mental illness do what he did best to seek professional help ... but one thing I got they cut his therapy and he had to go off his meds becouse of the cuts ... I have seen that in real life and it is sad people can not get the help they need becouse of cuts to the systems. you would think someone would understand if you are taking meds away for mental illness ... they may take it out on someone else ...becouse their mental ... all in all this was a good movie ... should have gotten awards if it hasn't already ... |

The Window 1949
An imaginative boy who frequently makes things up witnesses a murder, but can't get his parents or the police to believe him. The only people taking him seriously are the killers - who live upstairs, know that he saw what they did, and are out to permanently silence him. Score 7 outta 10 Rules of Engagement 2000 Part war movie, part courtroom thriller, this gripping drama finds a war hero put on trial for a rescue mission gone terribly wrong with only his doubtful friend and fellow marine to represent him. Score 6 outta 10 |
