Why don't people read profiles before messaging? |

I'm thinking for the most part is to save time.
Going thru all the possibles and maybes on the profile and striking out on the first inning is a major bummer. So to save us ...us meaning me and whoever. ..let's jump in and test the water..none of these toe testing stuff. . That's just me tho .... I don't speak for all men. |

Why don't people read profiles before messaging? I do... And majority of the time I don't message them because of no profile, or just to picky for me... Of course most run when I mention"disabled".... |

I was looking for the photo, you posted before I could.
I can understand your idea, but if they're too lazy to read a profile, or think they're so irresistible I would change my parameters --- I wouldn't want to meet them. I could occasionally message on a platonic basis, but most people don't want pen pals. Instead, I get much younger men, no photo men, etc. messaging. |

that falls into the we don't talk about them so they don't get better group of profiles and they are both male and female. pay absolutely no mind to them other than to report and block

I wish people would actually put something in their profile, I think I have seen one profile where someone actually put down a coherent paragraph about themselves rather than something like 'kik blahblah' or an email address.
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if most of the people that message you without reading your profile are just bots. |

for him it will stem the tide of usa profiles.
you should add picture and age filters if you see someone you like you can still message them and break the filter |

I don't know about being lazy or conceited but maybe shy or just not articulate. In any case toe testing might be a better option for you. Well I suppose these days pen palling is not popular but I'm sure there's room for it. As far as messages and pics from younger people don't worry about I get a lot of those bots and scammers too. |

I have what I am looking for in age on my profile that way I can still message people.
|

I always do, ALWAYS.
Plus, I include discussion in the message concerning the profile I read. I even read the profile before I respond to a message. |

the mail filters only prevent them from messaging you the first time tom. they do not keep you from messaging anyone

I usually read the profile, unless its a giant wall of text.. Which tells me when face to face she is going to talk so much my ears will bleed, and she'll suck all the oxygen out of the room...
I'd have to shove my swizzle stick in her mouth just so I could get a word in edge-wise.. |
