It's not a huge thing. I did it when I was married. I wasn't out of pocket for it. It was appreciated.

I see a few guys don't wanna soil their manhood by painting their ladies toenails. At the time, mine used to get ingrown toenails. After a trip to a podiatrist which cost me $250 to get this ailment cleared up for her, I looked over the work done. I could do it. Saved her a lot of pain by simple filing. Painting was just an offshoot.

I think its silly.

Its not really a big deal for either of us.
When I was married my X had a manicurist and had her nails done on a schedule.
I went to the gym or did something with my kids.
She said she enjoyed the socializing, she was a gossiper.

When we are watching a movie or just sitting around on the sofa my gf puts her feet in my lap and I pet them. She does likewise. Feet are not an issue for either of us, just another part of our bodies.
Of course neither of us wear shoes or work boots much so there's not 'funk' involved.
