In context, he did not call 'African nations' shitholes. He was also not speaking about who should be permitted to emigrate. He was referencing a SPECIFIC place and incident(the fall of Gaddafhi) in an interview where he was asked SPECIFICALLY about it.

IN an interview, the principal was asked about a pedophile from beverly hills who slipped into a teaching job. The principal replied that the teacher was sick and needed to be kept from children.

In a meeting about recruitment, the director of the board of education made a comment about ' sick pedophiles from beverly hills' being restricted from teaching.

Now, it could be excused that the significant word is 'pedophile' but then why not just say pedophiles, instead of tying it to a specific place?

THe former was response directly to a topic included in a direct question about ONE specific place and time.

the latter was a disparaging of an entire region.

Trump has denied it. Some others deny it. Some say he said it about Haiti only. Some say it was all of Africa.

True. I'm suspicious of he said/she said information. IF Trump said it, it wouldn't be surprising and wouldn't be the only offensive comments he's made about people.

If Obama said it, in context of the question he was asked, it wouldnt be surprising given the takeover of ISIS happening in that place at the time he was being asked about it.

But I don't know the evidence saying he said it. Not to be off topic, but its consistent with how I feel about men 'accused' of harassment and rape by many women when there is no other kind of evidence to support the claim.

its not exactly just about an opinion on the cleanliness of a place, when you are in a position of power and policy setting about immigration and you comment about barring people based on your opinions of cleanliness

I do believe results matter. I also believe how a President speaks creates a result in our global relations with other world leaders and governments, and a result in the national morale and standards,

and those results matter to me.


I do believe people will debate whether results are good or bad results too, and they will debate who to point at for responsibility.

I believe our opinions as the electorate are what win or lose elections and what motivates or discourages the people we elect to behave in certain ways or accomplish certain things.

I think it's all a mind game for those who want to obtain their goals.Truth is I don't feel that any of us really matter other than to drive the machine..

Don't believe me look at healthcare it should already be free but instead they take our money piss a lot of it away and no health care ..Healthcare for the citizens should be priority one..not to mention it is our money..where does it go don't know do ya..
