The problem is when a country becomes the dominant figure of the world, that gives its people the wrong idea that everything is granted to them. You see what happen with Rome. However, there is not a single empire that has lasted more than 1000 years.
When people think that they have everything for granted the pride overwhelms them. That is why events like 9/11 hurt that much because they realize that they are not untouchable as their government has made them believe they were. That is just pitiful TLW |

I couldn't agree more, but we should avoid feeding the fires that are now burning in silence. They might burn the brighter for it when they get a voice. |
