The President of the United States is aged 70 and his wife is 46 years old, and they have been married for well over 10 years, age difference doesn't matter to some in order to have a successful relationship, and they clearly see more in each other than just how old they are. Long term relationships, marriages, are not entered in to lightly and most people know what they are looking for, if age difference matters to you then better to date within an age range you feel comfortable with in my opinion. Without getting into a political debate I am not sure I would characterize the marriage(S) of our current President as the greatest example of relationships. All the money and power in the world would not be worth that to me. And I doubt if it were not he would clearly not let Baron go with her I think she might have left him a long time ago. I noticed she sure seems to have a separate life in his Ivory Tower. I will see how lasting it is after this term. If he doesn't declare incompetency to stay out of jail I imagine she will be history. |

I agree it's difficult to know what goes on behind closed doors in any marriage, but there are many examples of successful marriages between people where there are significant age differences, maybe there are a lot fewer in number than those by people closer to the same age, but they can and do work out for some. Humphrey Bogart aged 45 married Lauren Bacall aged 21. They went on to have a happy marriage and had two children together, she helped nurse him before his tragic death at the relative young age of 57 through cancer. Celine Dion aged 26 married Rene Angelil aged 51. They had 3 children together and were happily married until his sad death through cancer at the age of 73. The greatest sadness is they did not have more time together, but they all had no regrets regarding the person they married in my opinion. |

Age is not just a number; it is a measure of life experience. At 57 I have had a lot more life experience than someone at age 25 or 30. The only thing a younger person would see in an older person is a place to live, using them for sex, or using the older person for money. I have the intelligence to know that if I am not considered attractive to a man my age; I would be even less attractive to someone much younger. I know the difference between love and being used.

From my gender & age view..At 65 I don't need a younger babe.
I don't even need a wife, but I need more a friend & companion. I am not desperate or broke, I have my Sanity, Peace & Space.
But YES, I need someone ( A friend to start as ), to share so many wonderful things, knowledge, experiences & moments in life. I need someone I can share feelings, trust, confidence & endless conversation/s...I need someone I can truly give myself unlike the daily routine of just being nice or polite just because I/WE NEED TO. SURE, I don't need someone who likes to be on top of you, Possessive, argue or be obsessed with winning an argument/debate, I NEED A TRUE MATURE & GROWN UP LADY FRIEND.... YES, I wrote LADY because that's what I EXPECT...A LADY And yes, you may call me FUSSY, or an OLD FART, but to me only A LADY WILL DO.( If only you know the meaning of it ) Other-ways, please search DEFINITION of a LADYLIKE

SURE ...Age matters...Okay, + or - ( 5 or 10 ) years, NO MORE. Even 10 years can be a real problem in many, or most cases.
