Truth is Fanta, You will decide I post in these threads because somehow, you have decided I hate America...which onflows into hating Americans. Wrong on both counts. I dont hate anyone... I don't have it in me. I intensely dislike being labelled as such... it is not factual. I do see with unbiased eyes....I do see first and foremost humans...precious lives, and with all my posts in current events I am motivated by the conservation of humanity and gentle and generous humanness first. I don't need to swagger and say my country rocks, yours sucks... I dont need to be puffed up chested and say I AM AN AUSTRALIAN...blah blah blah..I AM AN AUSTRALIAN and pretend to be all patriotic. I care as much for the people of the US, as I do for the people in Iraq. And as I do for my next door neighbour, and the people on the street here. We are different in how we view things, and that is fine. However when current events is flooded with mostly US politiks what;s the point of posting, if I am to be constantly slammed for having an opinion, and apperently by your views I am not entitled to one, because I dont live in the US. Using your logic, why is your military in Iraq? They are not Iraqi's so should mind there own business...and stay out of there. Also in Afghanistan...you are not Afghani's so shouldn't you stay out of there? And Timor, and North/South Korea, and Germany, and all the other places? You are Americans,... shouldn't your people mind their own business too? And stick to their own problems in their own country? Your logic doesn't quite work when we expand it out.. well lee i wish we would

What do you think my children have eaten for the past 22 years? Takeaway, I think not...we live in a beautiful wilderness, the closest fast food is 100 miles away... I can cook, and no one has died of it.

Yes, but you cant save everyone, and this thread is about my families future life! After I save "that life" from illegal immigration in my country! Then, Ill work on saving all the other lives! Promise!! And while I was yet to be born when those Nukes were dropped. It is not something Im terribly proud about. Since I had no knowledge of it, or events leading up to it at the time! Did you know about the Blue line, the Australian government and the Australian military drew up? Did you know North of Townsville, right across Australia was drawn a blue line? Australia was willing to concede to Japan, all of the North of the country? So yes it was with relief, our soldiers who had been released, or were set free from Japanese POW camps had some incredibly horrific stories to tell..emancipated, beyond belief, tortured beyond human capacity. Yes Australia was relieved, when the war, the second world war was over. I do know some of the stories from both sides of the fence, my father was occupying forces in Japan, my sister in law's father is/was a survivor from Hiroshima... I do know first hand through these people, their eyewitness accounts...of what happened. I asked. I researched, I read countless firsthand accounts, from CIVILIANS of what was going on in the Pacific, as well as Europe... I have family from the UK. I read accounts of Pearl Harbour, first hand, non military accounts from eyewitnesses. Because History can teach us what not to do. |

If I remember correctly the balloon bombs were separate from Pearl Harbor. You first specified Pearl Harbor. Unfortunately yes military targets are usually found near civilian areas. But the Americans had a good idea of the power of the A Bombs and still used them on a predominantly civilian target. There is no comparision between the three attacks. sucked to be them as well as the sunday school teachers and her students fact is they bombed civilian targets first and yes did say pearl first wonder how many civilians died there No where near the numbers of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Every year Hundreds of Japanese go to Pearl to pray for those who died there, including vets who took part in the attack. How many Americans go to Hiroshima and Nagasaki to pray for those who disappeared in those firestorms? |

================================================================ Illegal Immigration in this country is an internal affair! It is none of your business, and We dont need your help! As far as the Europeans are concerned, (not Australia) their time and energy would be better spent dealing with the "REAL" inhumane way that their poulations treat illegal immigrants in their countries!
I apologize "not" for telling you to stay out of the internal affairs of America! Iraq is not in our yard, I have never said that you didnt have a stake there! Thats World News, I'll agree, go for it!
