Prolly missed it. Got bored & walked into this thread when the guests were leaving & negligently dropped my ignorant 2¢ worth in the key bowl. Now that you mention the "NULL" (that part which I am completely ignorant of) it comes into focus that there is potentially more to the tale than an old debater of numerical Cardinality carried in as a bias in his assessment of the context here. That's not an account locking offense, is it? Because I can edit it out before the AI-bot flags a digital packet it's told to watch out for. yuppers.. ya did I was wondering where that 2¢ came from.. I'm thinking you should be safe but ya never know with AI-bots these days.. they seem to be like pac-men.. gobbling up whatever they feel like
Apparently even mentioning the AI-bot is enough to get the pac-man treatment. Or was it YOU Zee? If I offended I am truly sorry. I honestly didn't think I said anything out of line - other than insult a computer program. Sentient bot?

sorry to hear about that dude.. nope.. t'wasn't me
weird tho.. I used the same words and nothing happened.. yet, that is ya never know tho huh..
nope.. no offense taken here.. so no need to be sorry.. you weren't outta line one iota.. at least not in my books.. I'm very warry about the new fangled bots personally.. as far as I'm concerned.. it's the beginning of humanity's end.. so right thar with ya..

I just read the other day that China has started integrating AI fully into their defense initiatives - which everyone else is doing as well.
What REALLY struck a nerve was the fact that China has NAMED their initiative. Wait for it....... Yep, they named it "Skynet".

AI Overview
China's extensive AI-enabled surveillance network is officially known as "Skynet" (天网, Tiānwǎng), which uses facial recognition and connects surveillance cameras across provinces to monitor public spaces . Launched around 2015, this system is primarily used by public security organs to identify individuals, crack down on crime, and assist in Operation Sky Net, which apprehends suspected economic fugitives. Google it. www.google.com/search?q=china+names+defense+AI+"skynet" |

there are no cougars (unless you're talking about the women ) and/or mountain lions, nor bears or any wolves etc where I am.. only those in human form.. which is bad enough
I know some who DO regret leaving Europe.. just like I know some here that regret those who came from Europe
although sorry to hear you tried to come to Canada but it didn't work out.. one of these days I plan on visiting more of Europe, the UK, Australia & Asia.. hopefully when things die down politically that is.. Lucky you, not having to deal with those animals. Hopefully no human cougars either, haha. I always felt Australians were quite a lot like us western Europeans, not like Americans, which is why it felt so good to be there. I get the same vibe from Canadians. I know many Dutch went to Canada. You often can tell by the surnames. Lot of Dutch ancestry there. Also German and Belgian I think. Which makes you wonder how many have British roots over there. Maybe time to dig into Canadian history, hihi. But for now have to chase after a cat who's trying to eat food she's not allowed to eat due to allergy, grrr... |

show ran from 2011 to 2016.. hmmmm.... |

yeah.. Canadians are good people.. for the most part.. there's a lot of arrogant Frenchmen in my province tho..
we have a lot of immigrants from all over in Canada.. it's awesome the diversity of cultures and cuisines we enjoy.. is that your cat you're chasing? |

Yup, one of my 3 cats, all females :)
The eldest, 4,5 years, has developed an allergy for most food so she can only have special (bloody expensive) food. She's finally getting used to it, but I have to keep an eye on her otherwise she still eats the regular food out of the bowls from the other 2. The youngest, li'l Meggie, on the other hand loves Nila's special food so I have to run around a lot, putting food away from this cat, put food back on the floor for that cat etc. Kinda nuts, haha. Free fitness, lol. I recently found out I got mice, got mouse clamps in today, so tonight I can run around with those. Putting them up in my bedroom where I have mouse/mice and in the kitchen. Hoping to catch them real soon, at the same time dreading that as then I'll have to deal with the dead mice in clamps, eeeewwww! One of the many joys of being a single woman, haha. I really need a bloke, hotdangit!! As for French Canadians... dunno any of those, but generally speaking I don't like the French. They're different, have different roots, from the Dutch, English, German etc. And I know the French in Belgium can be naff as well. Able to speak Flemish but refusing, looking down on their Flemish fellow countrymen. They're prolly not all like that, but it's what I've heard through the grapevine. So I guess French Canadians will tend to have the same attitude (attitude problem), grin. |

I have a few strays that show up for a meal every so often myself.. however there is 1 that comes into the house.. I'm more HER pet/doormat/doorman/chef
she actually started a fight with one of the raccoons earlier tonight.. the dumb twit.. mind you.. the coon took off quickly enough.. but then again.. cud be cuz I showed up
might I suggest adding a splash of peanut butter to your traps (clamps?.. never heard that term before) as mice are blind, they go by smell so.. that shud trap them.. being I live in the country, I get'em often enough.. have traps in my basement however I've sealed off all the ways they can get upstairs as I hated finding mice scat in my kitchen cupboards eesh.. over here our traps are 1 time use.. I don't empty mine, I just toss'em.. there are traps you can get that capture but not kill.. plus we have these sonic-sound type plug-ins that apparently drive'em nuts (I have a few of these.. they seem to work okay) Crystal.. ya don't need a man to define you OR complete you.. but that's just my opinion.. yeah.. sure.. it'd be great to have some help with things.. but that too can come from a friend.. I've been single for over 17 yrs.. by choice.. and I'm okay with that.. however like I said.. could always use some help with things.. like holding a 2x4x8 up while I screw in one end OR adding a roof to my deck
don't get me started on the french quebecers..

don't get me started on the french quebecers..
Hé, ne vous moquez pas des Français ! Ils n'y comprennent rien parce qu'ils refusent de parler anglais comme nous tous.
Don't ask me what that says, 3 years of French (& 2 of German I was supposed to need for college) & I can barely count to ten in either one.
because I live in Quebec AND was born here.. I can make as much fun of'em as I choose!
but yer right.. most refuse to even learn, let alone speak english.. which is their loss as the #1 universal language is still english, and they're limited on where they can travel.. mind you.. most don't which IS their loss.. at least I can speak french.. not perfectly.. but I LOVE making'em think I DON'T which simply forces them to speak english or find someone that does

Well, Zee, I tol' ya that durned AI-bot would get me again.
Free for ONE DAYUM DAY & poof! FishingMan is locked up yet again!
He's gunna spend more time in lockups than Nelson Mandela. W/T/F is wrong with that pac-man munching tool? I couldn't have possibly done anything wrong, I didn't have enough time to. The only thing in common is it seems to happen right after posting in the Community threads. Somebody in here dislikes my politics, perhaps, & files bogus reports on me? As long as I stick to hustling the chickadees it seems to be fine. |

Don't really consume alcohol other than to taste it occasionally. German whites in my cellar back to the early 2000s. Auslese goes really well with lobster & tenderloin, walleye, & New England clam chowder. Got any flower, maybe a gummy? It's legal for you, I still live in a 1930s prohibition state. For a supposedly progressive state Wisconsin is remarkably resistant to change on that particular vice. |

I don't consume either.. aside from the occasional (extremely occasional) german white.. wait.. wha??? hmmm.. *zee wonders if ol'coot has any vintage alsace pierre sparr stashed in that cellar of his* if not.. I gots a few here meself that I'ma savin for a special occasion.. or right before I expire.. pairs well with lobster AND t-bone..
plenty of bud up here too.. huge variety at the corner store.. and even a few spare gummies.. if yer of mind..
edit: actually, dependent on the year.. that Alsace can be French OR German

This OldCoot has a predilection for Whites from the near banks of the Rhine.
Niersteiner & Oppenheimer (Rheinhessans) are high priority. Some Badens & I once had 9 bottles of a "perfect" 1989 Binger, but they all drunk-ed up now. Toss in a few of the occasional Mosel or Nahe for when a girl needs something a little bit lighter and less sweet, to avoid that dreaded bloat at certain times.
The only thing that came out of the Alsace that I liked was Fischer LaBelle, a dark beer that was brewed more like wine than a typical dark lager or stout. Fin du Monde (roughly translated means "End of the World") out of a little brewery in Quebec - you might have heard of Unibrow - is possibly the best Dark Beer on the planet, triple fermented in the Belgian Monk style. Come to think on it, I sure do know a lot about booze for a guy who rarely consumes.
