So I just heard this old Abba song over the radio....and it got me thinking....yeah yeah, me thinking...how ironic is that, but yeah so...I was just wondering...If you were able to match six numbers in a lottery or whatever game you play....and you hit the jackpot.....where would you like to see your money go.....bank, bonds shares....whatever...be creative....hope this will be a fun thread....just saying..

where would you like to see your money go

Anywhere I could access it and the government couldn't while still feeling secure.

I like this idea. Being animal-lover myself, it will be a dream to build a shelter for stray animals especially.

After setting a small amount aside for supplementing my modest budget I would probably put most of it in a shelter program for the growing number of aged that can not find affordable housing that does not force them to endure truly substandard behavior of others.

Well, the good ole US of A has the reputation of people hiding the most money in shell companies, and the company to help set you up and use that US address, as your business address, is owned by a former President.....Deleware based I do recall.....No point going all the way to Cayman or Panama huh!!!!

If you ever win the lottery, don't tell ANYONE, because you can't always tell who is using you these days. Just saying. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt, at first, but once anyone gives me a reason not to trust them, they are void from my life. By all means tell your lover, but don't tell anybody else. Lots of money isn't always a good thing.

Travelling :) And probably buy a house somewhere. A nice cottage. And somehow England always comes to mind when I think about that. Somerset.

But travelling first. Scotland top of the list! Back to Glastonbury (UK of course).
Back to Ayers Rock (Oz), visit Mt Shasta (USA).

- Publish my books
- by decent cymbals and a splash for my kit
- Start giving workshops (personal development)
- Put enough away for retirement

I would help my kids out.... set up college funds for my grandkids....give some to charity and travel around the world...

But since I don't play the lottery.. chances of me ever hitting are very slim... lol

And then the rest I would invest in Technologies. Gaming industry.. dating sites.. and maybe buy some natural spring water well... somewhere... because the price of water just keeps going up and up...yup

I would probably spend most of it on fast cars and loose women. And just waste the rest.

Just wondering ... did you post this Q just for fun or ...?
What I mean is ... the answers give quite a good insight on who's got something going for themselves in life, who doesn't, who lives in fear etc. etc.
That's why I always love the question, a similar one is sometimes used in coaching, to help ppl get clear what it is they want in life and what is stopping them from getting it.

Wonder no longer... Long story short, I posed this question in a fun way, ok, I was kinda sorta sozzled, but I was hoping for more serious answers .. Thinking mature audience and all..yes the jokers on here , including your truly, were bound to give witty and wise answers ... Well by the answers you can tell a lot about the person. One thing I did notice though, no one was quitting a job..... To make whoopsie.. Is this a big tell sign or what ... Ha ha...

I think i know exactly what I'd do:
- buy a small house with a big garden and a few animals around
- start a small business
- save the rest to be used for people or good causes in need

...so i would definitely not stop working, i would invest into future work and self sustainable life for me and for others interested..;)

Well I would retire... For sure..

I would also set up college fund trust so that my great grandchildren and so on could get the education needed in this world.

I would also give my children enough to pay off their debts and have a nice nest egg.

I would donate a lot of it to the charities I believe in.

I would then invest the rest.. Keeping out a bit so that I could indulge in my love of travel instead of saving for a 30 day vacation in Scotland I would be there for a couple of months. I would also go back and spend some time in Europe loved it once would like to see if I could again.

I would also take the time to really figure out what needs need to be met.
I know one that is very dear to my heart is making sure kids have coats and winter boots and gloves. Up here when I got involved with this charity I never knew so many kids go cold.

One of the things I love to do, when it is least expected is pay it forward to someone. Doesn't matter who just do it. I think that would become my new career paying it forward to people.

I love seeing someone get that boost when they least expect it. Never letting on that I was the one that paid it forward for them.

Stop working probably in the field I am and do more charity work..
