gooooooooosh you people who say you miss out on everything annoy me. You can find most anime/manga ONLINE. youtube. that one place picklegirl said. and plenty of others. PLUS, if you're watching the english -crap- and i do mean -crap- on american television, you're missing out on so much. I mostly Agree. I don't have cable tv, just basic channels. I wouldn't watch anime on American tv anyway unless its subtitled. As for YOUtube? Veoh.com is better with the videos, I'm using it to catch up on my Naruto shippuden right now. --------------------- BTW I'm going to ACEN (anime convention) this year. I was thinking of cosplaying for the first time. I think I found a character I can play. Yeah. Tousen Kanamei from bleach. 1. Is Black/dark skinned (like me) 2. Has braids/dread (like me) 3. Niko. so you watch Shippuuden too huh? It's really starting to get interesting. I am going to have to look later and make sure i am caught up..I think I may be one episode back...That's cool about the anime convention btw...I wish we had something like that around here..i'd definitely be someone from Bleach too...Just not sure who...Probably Rukia because I am short like she is, and I have dark hair... Becca I'm on episode 30. Yeah really interesting...made me laugh, the cry then 'oh my gawd' Alabama doesn't have a nearby Con? I'm St. Louis, we've got ACEN in Chicago but if you want to do it local you go to the new con that just started a couple years ago. Its called Anime St. Louis is St. Louis...I'm to scared to go to that one. Some of the uber crazy cosplay fanatics from my old college started it. They were already scary in college, how much more they must be after they were released into the real world :D |

Cool. :)I haven't checked youtube lately to see if I am behind..I am hoping I'm not....Shippuuden is so much better than regular old Naruto. :) as for the anime conventions, I will have to look and see if there are any around here....Would love to go to one. :) Sounds like a lot of fun!

Have I died? Nope! =D I've just been very busy...and then this thread got very Bleach and Narruto talky, and I don't watch either lol. But so much happened here! Ugh I'm kind of sad I missed it, I'll have to catch up lol.

Its good to know that im not the only anime buff on hear.
some of my favs are bleach, naruto, inuyasha, evangelion, blood+, ghost in the shell, and full metal alchemist. I use to be bad enough I could name the titles of inuyasha, evangelion, ghost in the shell, and full metal in order but I stopped watching for a while when they got taken off of the channels i watched. Any way its just good to see some other anime buffs on hear. |

Just wondering if anyone here besides me watches anime..i am addicted..it all started with dragonball, moved on to dragonball z and gt, then inuyasha, and naruto, and now i am hooked on bleach..any other anime addicts out there? Becca

There's a new series I just got into and it beautifly done, it has awesome artwork.
It's called Mushi-shi by Funimation. It's not the most action packed show but has very cool episodes and it's well done, now it's Just a question of buying all the dvd's LOL I found the second and 3rd dvd's for $11 a piece at bestbuy and thought it was a great deal since normally anime run @ $20 or more a piece usually. I never saw them before, I took a risk and I was plesently surprised. 
of course there's always Cowboy Bebop that's always been my fave show and I just bought the complete remix for $30 so that makes it even better...LOL |

I love all Anime! I'm not a fan of subtitles. The American voice actors do great for the shows imo. I love Luci Christian!!
Some of my favorites are Full Metal Panic, Elfen Lied, Princess Tutu, Gravion, Full Metal Alchemist, Trinity Blood, one Piece, and of course all of the DB/DBZ/DBGT sagas. |
