has anyone ever seen the x-men cartoon opening that was drawn out anime style? that sh*t looked so sweet man! It's too bad they never actually started the show with that art style, damn that woulda been bad ass [as long as the american voice actors would remain the english voices]

I've been meaning to watch some new anime, but I don't have time for hardly anything. When I do go to the stores, I check out the artwork and stories and try to remember the names of the anime. I hate to say it, but damn those vids are just to damn expensive. It's free online...I'll show my appreciation at AX and spend a grip of money there lol maybe I won't feel so guilty afterwords.

These were robots with personalities, there was a human pilot, but only one. From reading online, there was a daughter and a professor, but I don't really remember them. There were twin female robots that were the arms, two different males that were the legs. That's all I really remember.

I think people who don't like anime haven't given the style half a chance. The beauty of it is that there is such a huge amount of it- everyone could find at least one series or movie that they would probably enjoy!

Someone said that Akira was the best anime movie...I don't know about that. It was interesting and the concepts were really far out. Personally I like the Last Unicorn best. It was so magical and I truly enjoy the soundtrack.

I know, I know some people may say that it's not anime and I hope those people will understand when I say that: You're wrong.

I, too, enjoyed The Last Unicorn, as does my daughter.

Something about that movie was just so powerful and beautiful.
