I'm not too sure if this belongs in this category ..
Ok are you a morning person do you jump out of bed with a giant smile on your face ready to meet the day head on..?.... you whistle or sing as you get ready for your day.... .. our do you keep hitting the snooze button on the alarm clock one more time.. dreading the fact that you have to get out of bed..... .. .. do you get up 2 maybe 3 hours earlier than you really need to..? Or do you wait for the very last possible second and then get out of bed rushing to get ready? |

I jump out of bed coffee breakfast turn on radio and dance my way to getting ready.
Get to work or school and a cheerful good morning to who ever. By 8 pm it's shut up and leave me alone unless I'm out on the town. |

As soon as my alarm goes off I get up and start my day.. Normally no coffee needed to get me started.. and during the week never have any till I get to work..
I actually have my alarm for one hour before I have to leave. Gives me time to let my dog out take a shower ect and get ready before walking out the door.. And yes I'm smiling even in the morning.. |

No, I have never been a morning person. I hit the snooze 3-4 times before I crawl out of bed with one eye open. I work from so I get up at the last possible minute and stumble to my home office to get logged in. 2-3 cups of coffee later I am feeling human again

I have no use for mornings.
As far as I know they only keep the days from slapping against each other. No coffee, yuck. The best possible thing about retirement, for me, is that I can get up whenever I freaking want to :-) |

The best possible thing about retirement, for me, is that I can get up whenever I freaking want to :-) Definitely not a morning person, as the only thing that the early morning light tells me is it is bedtime! Agreed soufie that on my days off I like that there is no alarm and I get up whenever! |

I am really not a morning person. I don't know how I managed when the kids were young. After I'd taken them to school, I'd usually read and chill till about 10 am and drink lots of coffee, just to wake up properly.
Now I get up around 10.30 and I snooze. A lot. I got 3 alarms set in my phone, 1 isn't enough to wake me up. I'd just hit snooze 3 times, and pass out again By the time I've done that, the 2nd alarm goes off, lol. When I had to work, I usually got up right away. No snoozing. Brekkie, coffee and a smoke, trying to get warm before I have to have the dreaded morning shower. Now I can shower in the afternoon or evening, when my body is properly warmed up. |

I'd have to say I'm a little of both. I don't use the snooze button, get up an hour and a half before I need to leave, do a light exercise, eat breakfast, pack a lunch and show up to work 15 minutes early. I'd be lieing though if I told you I wasn't dragging a$$ until I got done exercising. Unfortunately I am incapable of sleeping in on my days off. Ever since I got out of the NAVY I can't seem to sleep more than 8 hours at a time.

F' No!
Don't speak until after I've had my coffee either! I got up very early for too many years, no way I'm repeating that noise. I use the alarm when there is something to do, otherwise fujgeddaboutit, I'm sleeping. I even black out the windows, so it's always dark enough. |

I haven't used an alarm clock in many years. That's the great thing about being retired.

For myself I'm a bit of a mix of both..
My alarm goes off an hour and three quarters early.. I hit snooze for three quarters of it..lol.. then I get up.. listen to all my bones and joints .. moan and groan.... but once I push off the edge of the bed... I am up.. straight to the kitchen put the coffee on.... and then something happens.. I go from wanting to crawl back into bed... and then my mood changes... and then I start to become more cheerful.... so by the time I hit my truck and get ready to drive to work.. I'm pretty much singing and whistling..lol... that is unless my boys don't get out of bed when I call them.. by the second time..lol.... that tends to put me in a bit of a bad mood..grrrrrr.. not to mention a little late for..work..grrr.. . Great I'm getting in a bad mood just thinking about it..lol... happy halloweenie..lol |

Morning person...
Though someone explained to me that 3AM is still night... *laughing* |

Mornings ought to be OUTLAWED!
|

|
My body clock gets me out of bed anywhere between 6-6:30AM.. make a coffee & read that daily rag paper, finish the crossword; check in with facebook; plan the day.. No bad moods here... no time for that! always chicken, no feathers.

I don't function without Coffee in the AM.
I have been a living comedy hour for my family since I was young. I do naturally wake up very early am around 5 am and I am a early to bed person. I have gotten better I do smile in the am. As long as others don't ask a lot of questions and want intelligent answers. Once I am a wake I am awake for the day. |
