Good morning JB and Britty.......Hope you both had a wonderful Christmas......I know i said Happy Birthday to the Lord and Savior at least 15 times....giggle.
JB......There is no doubt that you should find another soul mate.....Who's to say the first one was the one the Lord wanted to be your soul mate......I don't know...I would find it hard to believe that the Lord in all His grace would want you to be alone. so whether it is good or bad...I wont stop praying for that very special gal for my JB. |

Hi Debs, Had a lovely Christmas with a friend and his family yesterday. Have had an opportunity to speak with mom several times over the last few days. Still hoping to connect with a friend back in the UK.
JB - I noticed the verses you posted. I take it they were a response to the subject of divorce from a biblical standpoint. I understand from that you feel that one is under grace and even though God does not like divorce, his mercy is greater than the law. Your thoughts? Anyone else? |

I agree.....I also think that the at least for myself the mosiac law just doesn't apply anymore....because of Jesus dying on the cross.....I think that if you have only been married once that you should be able to find another wife...If I am not mistaken I think it even says that in the bible....What you can not do is get married over and over and over.....like Pam Anderson who gets married and 6 months later gets divorced....It's tacky and gives the bondage of marriage and what it is a bad name.

thank you dear ...love and hugs
Like your new photo Britty i'm just briefly cruising thru the posts... yes, i think many many "hollyweird" celebrities make a mockery of the sacredness of marriage they have their reward... they have their temporary fixes tons of money & praise & recognition from mere men alone sodom & gomorrah revisited a complete abomination to God no jewels on their heavenly crowns God, help humanity there, but for the grace of God go all of us |

Thats so true....and I work in the industry so I see it first hand....scary really.

Good morning all
Hope you have a wonderful blessed day 1 CORINTHIANS 13 - A CHRISTMAS VERSION (author unknown) If I decorate my house perfectly with plaid bows, strands of twinkling lights and shiny balls, but do not show love, I’m just another decorator. If I slave away in the kitchen, baking dozens of Christmas cookies, preparing gourmet meals and arranging a beautifully adorned table at mealtime, but do not show love, I’m just another cook. If I work at the soup kitchen, carol in the nursing home and give all that I have to charity, but do not show love, it profits me nothing. If I trim the spruce with shimmering angels and crocheted snowflakes, attend a myriad of holiday parties and sing in the choir’s cantata but do not focus on Christ, I have missed the point. Love stops the cooking to hug the child. Love sets aside the decorating to kiss the husband. Love is kind, though harried and tired. Love doesn’t envy another’s home that has coordinated Christmas china and table linens. Love doesn’t yell at the kids to get out of the way, but is thankful they are there to be in the way. Love doesn’t give only to those who are able to give in return but rejoices in giving to those who can’t. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. Video games will break, pearl necklaces will be lost, golf clubs will rust, but giving the gift of love will endure. |
