Topic: How old do you feel? | |
---|---|
Today I feel 1000 years old, induced by decision making that affects other people forever. May I give you a hug ma'am? haha (just half kidding ) This post makes me smile and sad at the same time.. Sometimes we just have to do the tough decision..if not for ourselves, more importantly for them.. Don't have the strength to type a lol or a smiley..feeling old indeed.. |

I look and feel like in my 20's - 30's. I am in my 40's and I get told that I look much younger compared to other women my age. Youthful looks runs in my family. Another reason I look so youthful could be attributed to the fact that I haven't had any children, which devastates a woman's looks and organism (my body is flawless, no stretch marks, surgical scars or sagging breasts like most middle aged women and older), and I never had to worry over raising children (yet) so my face is wrinkle free and creamy smooth. Nah ... I got the same thing, looking much younger, and that running in the family. Has nothing to do with having children or not. I do have children, and I still got the same. I do have stretchmarks and scars from surgery, the latter not related to having children. But having stretchmarks doesn't make you look older. There's 16 year old girls, with very slender and firm bodies, that have stretchmarks on their thighs. Just go the beach and observe ... Many women use this stretch mark thing as an argument, never heard a man talk about it. I think it's based on insecurity. And tbh, I just looked at my tum, I have to seriously look real hard to even see them after 22 years. And I had a lot at my lower belly. Always strikes me as odd how women without children use having been pregnant as a means to try and knock other women. Seen that on here before. So much for female solidarity and honouring the Divine gift of being able to bear new life. Whether having had children changes your body depends largely on your body's muscles, tendons and hormones (gene pool again). It does make a woman's nipples slightly fuller (possibly only if you've breastfed), which men usually to love. Looking young is A to do with a good gene pool and B the way you feel (mental state of being). And of course trying to live a healthy life-style. Although that sometimes makes me wonder, as I smoke a lot, I must have caffeine running through my veins instead of blood, but I still look a lot younger. So I say, light another cig, lol. And you can live as healthy as you want, if you don't have the gene pool to back it up ... |

Crystal, I was being catty when I wrote that. Not you but some women here have been nasty and unkind to me so I was taking my dig back at them.

I think some women think they look younger, but to me they look there age, which isn't a bad thing.
