So I'm wondering...do you remember the first time you stepped in the forums...? Kinda...haha...found them when I was bored with fending of scammers and one word emails.....I discovered the fun of the forums and friendship..... thanks to the advice of one friend here I also discovered the power associated with having your own thread.....and look where that lead me..hahaha...

Yes, I do. It was not long ago.
I did feel invisible but it didn't last long. Many of you here paved the way for me to join your discussions. I also spent a lot of time reading past posts and viewing profiles to know who you are and where you were coning from. I am still learning. I guess it comes down to the company you keep. I chose wisely here. Thank you for making me feel welcome.

My lil sis signed me up. I just went with it................... Here I am :) My favorite answer :-) Well I had never had been on a dating site. I've been on forums like Bianca's Smut Shack and Excite chat back in the early 90's, but nothing new. More of a flirting forum. I actually met one girl on Bianca's and played pool in Indianapolis. Radio Shack had the forum closed down because of the word "Shack" in the name. Hmmmmm Radio Shack is now filing for bankruptcy. I'm in tons of tech forums now. This one does not have enough tools. |

So I'm wondering...do you remember the first time you stepped in the forums...? I joined Mingle2 because it is a Free site, previously I was on a Pay site. The Forums were a new thing to me, and I thought I would give them a try, I think my first question was regarding whether or not age matters in a relationship. A question that I have since discovered comes up quite often in the Forums. Nice to be here, and good luck to everyone. |

Explaining what is scary would be nice. If it's what I'm thinking........ Bianca's "SMUT" Shack (the word SMUT)........ Do a little research, as it's not what you think. I was in my 20's then and the forums were just like the ones on here! Never try and discredit me. Losing is an option, only if you let it be. |

I was kind of thrown off the very first time here. Did a LOT of reading and finally decided to just jump in. I did and have been doing the dog-paddle ever since. Taking a lap from one side of the pool to other with resting on the ledges in between.
 LOL
I am generally a watcher (some would call it voyeur or peeping tom) most of the time, but like to interject when something truly does strike my fancy, or a nerve.
I have enjoyed ya'lls conversations and most of you have welcomed me and others quite pleasantly. 
This (the forums) is what makes or breaks a dating site for me. Being able to see how one interacts with others. I have enjoyed my time here....even though I hope my sentence is over soon.
