We were running...

It was dark, the air was still and humid. Rainclouds were gathered above us, threatening a downpour. I looked at him and he was still confused about everything that had gone on.

No one tried to understand him. To them, he was just a joke-- too stupid to know any better, but useful enough to keep around.

To me, he was simply too innocent for the world he was born into. He'd feed a snake even after it bit him...even if it bit him again. And that was exactly what he did, and that's exactly what got us into this crap we're in, and that's exactly why they want him back. I knew i was gonna pay for helping him get away from that...
