I hate it personally... when people always comment on..my height.. like for instance...ohhh.. you're so tall.. ..mmm.. have you always be that .tall.. .. I never know what to say back to that.....ummm.. have you always been height challenged.. .... no I'm only this tall when I stand up... 
Yeah but... no but .. yeah but ... What if someone said "Ooh!! I really LOVE you being tall!"? Would that feel 'wrong' to you as well?? *Curious* I for one love a man being tall .. so now you're saying I cannot say that anymore?  
But I agree, rather daft to ask "Have you always been this tall" Would make me feel like asking them "Have you always been this thick?" Maybe you should say that

I think "Amazon" is a good term. Wonder Woman is one :-) & we generally don't put up w/anything we don't want to b/c we can't be intimidated physically by most men. On the downside, I've resigned myself to the fact that I won't ever be picked up & carried anywhere by a man. It's just annoying to have to reject men who I could pick up & carry! It would be so nice to be w/a man who makes me feel literally protected b/c he's much taller & has a strong build. LOL; Haven't met a man yet that can pick me up or make me feel protected. Most guys are shocked by the muscles I have as a woman but then again I do weight lift where as the men I meet don't do much more than sit on the couch and drink beer.
Are you sure? Perhaps they weren't show-offs. Personally, I wouldn't pick a woman up for no reason. That would be rude... |

2 inches and 3 quarters..lol.. why don't you just bump it up to 3 inches all together.. don't think anybody would notice

I dated a guy who was 6'7".
I am 5' 2 3/4" short. I always felt like he was..resting on me. You know, with his hand on my head instead of around me shoulders. But, as most women, I like them tall. And for the OP I would say they have the same response to short women...maybe they think we are kids and easier to handle? |

Awww..will thank you kind lady I have been told I am quite "thick"..
not that I do, like to brag about myself NoOooo...lol...but some women have made mention that I'm not lacking in that area...however I do appreciate the compliment..

I would...but I am freaking literal, and unable to lie :-) So on a routine office visit, the nurse measures me and announces, you are now 5'1" tall! I said, really, I lost an inch and a half in 3 months...she consoled me, well, we are all getting older... Grrrrrr. So, 3 months later I ask her to measure again, so I can keep track of this new diminishing me. 5' 2 3/4" as I had always been!! She said, I guess I read it wrong. Lesson for me: Only SHE is getting older. And, we know what you do in that corner no1phD.. |
