Apparently satan saw God as He really is, where as we try to imagine Him. Satan already played his hand when He tried to take over heaven. Like the spouse who just messed around one to many times. Lousy example, but who am I G--?

If God forgave Satan, a lot of people who profit off the good versus evil belief would be out of businesss. I personally believe God forgives all, even Lucifer, the most beautiful angel God ever created. Its all about the money and greed.

This is interesting because there is a group of Satanists that believe this very thing. They say that since Armageddon should have happened by now and hasn't then something unexpected must have happened. Since God is absolute good, and Satan was good and the fell from God's graces he is not absolute evil. Absolute good must sooner or later win over non-absolute evil. So if Armageddon has not happened then Satan must have repented, God must have won out and forgiven him and therefore since Satan truly fell from the graces of God only he can save you from your sins. There is supposedly a large amount of these Judeo Satanists in California.

You're forgetting that God sees into our heart...so what we may assume is cold and heartless..is just... in Gods eyes, because he sees the beginning and end of things and Satan's Judgement is due to the condition of his heart.
And actually..the angels were not given free-choice..but they had the capability of it.. Man was created with free-will..
So he offers forgiveness because Man has the choice to choose..

I doubt if he would, also, if you don't have blind faith in god, (faith without any actual proof) you get condemmed to an eternity in hell, but he loves you ! lol

I think Satan has gotten a totally bad rap. Consider this - without satan, what would there be to 'challenge' Christians?

After all, how is it possible that God has no control over the likes of a fallen Angel?

Perhaps that old Christian quality of judgement has misjudged on this issue.

Perhaps Satan is actually doing the bigging of God, as God intended. In so doing, how could Satan be wrong and how could God withhold love from the being whose only fault is to follow the bidding of God?????????

It doesn't say "Lucifer", it actually says "heylel" which means "Morning Star". KJV translators used "Lucifer" which means "Morning Star" in Latin. It then became a short leap from what the story is actually talking about, a fallen Babylonian king, to what most people think the story is about, the fall of Satan.

It's sad but God would not be able to forgive him because the only Sin that is unforgivable is blaspheming against the Holy Spirit.

I don't think that Satan would Go ask for forgivness just because he is too prideful, He tryed to take over Heaven and took one third of the angels with him.
Because Satan commeted the unforgivable sin he will never be forgiven.

In the story, the devil actually realizes his mistake, and seriously contemplates returning to God and admitting his error because he knows God would forgive him. But he took so many other angels down with him who follow him as thier leader that his pride will not allow him to return and humble himself before God and seek forgiveness. Milton really focuses on pride in trying to surpass the almighty being the reason for his fall, and it's also what keeps him from repenting his sin.

Anyways, it's a good story at any rate.

The reason why God WONT forgive satan is because he committed the UNFORGIVABLE sin, and satan was FULLY AWARE that he had done it.

The unforgivable sin is where you REJECT God.

SOLUTION: because God is FAIR I dont believe that he will condemn someone who rejected Him out of ignorance ORIGINALLY; meaning that IF you DO come to Christ and ask for forgiveness you will be forgiven.

But as for me, Im christian, If I rejected Jesus I would be stuffed because I am fully aware.

Fact is Satan rejected God because he wants to become "Like MOST HIGH"...He WANTS to BE GOD. He doesnt believe that God is the ONLY one that can be GOD.

Satan has never asked to be forgiven, he still tries to exalt himself above God to this very day. I am sure that when the "war" in heaven was "fought", if satan had asked for forgiveness at that time, he would have been granted salvation from his emity towards God. There is a close of probation for all of us. We are to make the choice on whether we would rather serve our own interests or God before we die, or before Jesus comes again. Amazing what self-pride will do to a creation, eh?

This was an easy one, can you stump me? I have one for you. Give me even one verse in the Bible where God transfers the holiness of the seventh day Sabbath to Sunday. My church partners are willing to pay $1,000,000.00 if you can find even one verse. :) Clue: there is no such verse! That is a good question. You have to look at it at a different angle as Angles were created spirit and through our forgivenss we will become spirit. The scriptures speak of the demons and satan knowing the scriptures and trembling. When Yahshua commanded legion ( many demonS ) they asked for mercy. Yahshua granted them to go into the pigs which went crazy and drowned themselves. The difference is the fall of satan when he said he would be like the most high. Here we have created spirits who rebell when they have seen the face of Yahweh yet we have not.They know his power refuse to believe. Of course God would forgive satan....he even gave him that chance....but satan felt he was better then God.....No one is (my opinion) and so he was placed in the pits of hell for 2000 years.....he is now back reeking havoc on the planet.

And again remember people that satan was the right hand angel to God....and when he pulled his lil games.....Well the rest as they say is history.

Another question might be why didn't God just kill satan and be done with him? And why did God banish satan for 2000 years?....and Why did God let him come back to earth to roam free?.....Do you think this is a test for all humanity from God?
